May god always bless you and your family with great adventures in Bangkok , good health and happiness always
Linley, Luke and Leon should study at international or international schools in Bangkok. There are a lot of them. and there are many prices
I think you're meant to wear masks in the malls
I agree 101% you'll stay for good in Bangkok Lilly😘
Bangkok depends which quarter. Shall your children becoming educated like the thai upperclass kids is Bangkok a good choice. Personally I think HuanHin is better for work life balance, seaside and landscape.
Nam is simply the star of the show. You could not have wished for a better nanny. She puts a smile on all our faces always.
She is a gem. I want a Nam too.❤️
Yes,I agree she is such a joy to watch..
I just adore her ! She’s so happy and sweet 🥰
I love Nam! She’s pure joy.
Lilly is so lucky to have Nam.
Nam is the absolute best man. What a total sweetheart. Endlessly patient,up for anything and always sweet and smiling. 💝Best nanny ever! You can tell she is a truly good soul.
Wat is adorable. Reaching his hand out to pray with you. You're so Blessed, Lily!! A man and husband of his caliber, a full of love, care and protection is unfortunately rare in the US. He absolutely adores you like his 👸.
Where's sassy Gigi? Love your mama and Nam.
When Wat held out his hand for a prayer before eating, that just melts my heart ❤️. May god bless you and your family with joy and good health. Shower you with lots of love and always pointing you in the right path. Love and peace from Singapore.
Nam is on another level! I've come to love her much!! She's kind, sweet, appreciative and loves the kids so much. Can't wait for the Bangkok content. Stay sweet and safe.
To be there temporarily for the experience, but the way the world is going, the rural life is precious 🙏🏻
Totally agreed
Asia is different through, there's virtually zero crime anywhere. Even large cities are very safe.
Totally agree
AMEN
You are now in Bangkok but your Koh Samui go fund me is not closed after last charity give out 2 years ago. It amounts to $26,000 USD
I love how genuine Nam is in all your videos! Would love to have a nanny like her. She's a blessing.
Lily I think you are the most amazing mother and wonderful wife. I know you got to where you are by traveling a rough road but what you have become is truly inspirational for those of us who are mothers and those of us who are travelers of your videos bring something to the table that no one else has ever done. It’s not exactly a food blog it’s not exactly just family and it’s not just travel it’s everything and I love it. Keep up the great work.😊❤
Nothing can beat island life Lily. You gonna missed it a lot.
Enjoy the journey nothing was said to be permanent.
Yea, some things can easily beat island life !
@@paulsmith2279 Yes! I was concerned to see that too
@@paulsmith2279 me too, special with little children, in a blink of a eye, they can climb on it and fall down, never I would live there with little ones, the island was way better for this little ones.
@@diniemadsen4778 > Tears in Heaven
First I want to wish Lilly, Wat and family to enjoy the new season of travelling. Have fun and stay save and healthy.
Second I want to address this to the people who keep asking why they left Koh Samui or saying that they should get back or that Wat will miss the place where he stayed most of his life. If your a true follower of Lillys Life you should've know already what the purpose and meaning is of this new season of vlogs. In some of her previous videos she had given us some hints.
The coming two or three months, besides that she and her family (including Nam) wants to discover the rest of Thailand, she will try to blow up her channel and of course to increase her subscribers with more interesting and surprising contents.
We should wonder why such interesting CZcams channel with millions of viewers have only 220k subscribers.
Maybe we as followers who love her channel can help her by sharing it within our network. I think by the time GiGi will visit again they will return to Koh Samui.
Sorry Lilly if I have messed up one of your surprises.😊😉😅😂🤣. For now you all just enjoy the beautiful moments, places and food,🥰🥰🥰
Well said❤🙏amen!!!
The number of subscribers should NEVER matter. It's better to have few subscribers but a lot of viewers enjoying your content than a lot of subscribers but barely anyone watching and enjoying the content you create.
There're many people who watch, love what they watch and keep coming back to watch more but will never subscribe.. that's perfectly ok. The important thing is that she loves what she does and enjoys creating her content.
Life is beautiful, live is precious so let's not allow things that don't matter become our focus and steal our joy.
What a wonderful life I love following you x
I am a new subscriber, just found this channel two weeks ago. I was watching the clip where they bought a house and were all happy......suddenly the house sale and the move. Thank you for the summary. It explains the reason well.
My best of wishes to Lilly and her family in their new adventure.
It is so much fun to watch Nam enjoying herself, it looks that everyone enjoys the change.
Lilly you are such a wonderful lady, you treat your domestic helper with such love and compassion.
God bless you sister and your family.
Hi Lilly, this is a real twist to your adventures and I'm loving it! I find Bangkok a surprising choice but if you don't try it you will never know. There are so many amazing things and places to experience in this fantastic city but I can't image for long term that you and your lovely family will anchor here as your home. In the meantime enjoy everything this city has to offer and please keep sharing it with us.
What a beautiful familie !.I love that Thai culture music on the backgound,so sooting and relaxing !.Wat is such a lucky man to have you as his wife, think he is so blessed and complete with his cute growing familie !.He always seem relaxed and happy ! Luke is grown a big boy and speaking clear english,I love that ! Leon is such an adorable cute happy little boy, love it ! Happy laughters and you have mutual respect towards each other, especialy for Nam,thats lovely !
Koh Samui is heaven on earth. My expat friend has worked and lived in BK for 30 yrs and he would definitely move and live in KS any day. The buzz of BK wares thin after a while.
Hi Lily!
Honest opinion: Love the twist, love the suspense, love the adventures, love that your family puts God at the center of everything you do. Most of all, i love your family and your channel😊...
Keeping you all in prayer. God bless
Thank you so much Jacklyn. God bless you!
IMO, Bangkok is okay for a change of scene, but Samui is a better place to live long term 🙂
Wat might have a hard adjustment to make going from an island to the city.
Bangkok is the most visited city on earth for the last 7 years in a row. Very cosmopolitan, international and exciting. Yes, you can get fat there very easily as they have every cuisine imaginable from Thai street food to 2 Michelin star French fine dining. They have a branch of that cronut bakery "chikalicious" in NYC too. It is very popular and has 5 stars on google reviews.
Lilly! You are in Bangkok! 😍 Let's meet up, I live just down Sukhumvit from you now. 😁
It’s a new adventure Lilly 🫂👍🏻and Nam is lovely help sunshine 🌞 and a part of the family 🫂👍🏻💕
I can see wat having a harder time he’s use to smaller places and just his quiet nature
I am excited to see where life takes you and your family in the big city. I can appreciate how difficult the adjustments will be - especially for Wat. I worry about the balcony with your kids. I really hope you get a single family home on the outskirts of the city eventually. Stay safe! 🙏🏼
I too worry about that balcony and the kids. Kids are so quick and in this case have to be watched every second. Gave me the hee bee geebies
I had just added a comment and that was the first thing I mentioned. -
The balcony with Luke and Leon around children in general moves so quickly you could be in the kitchen they're right there with you 2 mins later you're looking around thinking that they're in the living room watching TV and they've managed to open the sliding door to the balcony. OMG!
Hopefully, during homeschooling hours they instill in both boys under NO circumstances neither one is ever allowed to open the sliding doors.
I love Nam! She is soooo adorable
The boys are so loving of their little sister. The kids are as amazing as their parents and nanny.
Please check how safe the balcony is with the children.
Enjoy Bangkok 🙏🏻
All the best to you Lilly and family on the next chapter. I lived and worked in BKK for 5 years and as the novelty of the vibrant noisy city wore off, ended up in Australia and was amazed with the lifestyle change of clear blue skies and fresh air. Children can adapt easily but a little more challenging for adults with cultural/societal differences abound.
God bless Nam she is so simple n intelligent at same time. She is a great nanny.
My honest opinion, as you asked. Bangkok looks fine to vacation there, but your old home was so beautiful and in such an ideal setting. Best wishes.
♥️I love how Wat’s eyes lit up when he wasn’t sure what to order 🤩
Beautiful family blessings on your move 🙏
The good thing about it is, if you don't like it you can move again! Enjoy. I love watching your beautiful life and beautiful family.❤️
Good morning Lilly. This s Prof Toots Lorete from the Phil. I follow your vlogs weekly. Am happy to note that you're now in Bangkok - a new citylife experience after staying for 9years in Koh Samui. Good luck to everyone and I will pray for your successful and prosperous stay in Bangkok. Please take extra care always 💞. You're such an excellent wife and mother. Godbles.
Here's wishing u safe travels!Leon is just cuteness overload!Lots luv fr:SG
Hi Lilly: pretty surprised you made this move to Bankok... I like Koi Samuoi much better! However, I love your family!❤
Wishing you, wat, nam, luke ,leon and Layla the best of everything in Bangkok. I'm excited for you all.
I’m so excited for you and your family ! 🥰
I used to live in Bangkok last year and traveled around Thailand 🇹🇭
Watching your videos, I seriously can’t wait to be back in november for a whole year 🙏🏻 Thailand has really become HOME to me ❤️
Coming from busy city Singapore, i must say that the city has opportunities and even the most challenging circumstance can provide you with the best lesson and push you out of your comfort zone.
Seize the opportunity. Stay safe and may you have an amazing time in Bangkok
Nothing's better than island life!!!!! 🏖️
I honestly think you will love visiting and experiencing the life of Bangkok, but I think by the end of the month, you all will be ready to get back to the calm friendly life you had back home.
Yeah l think Lily's been cocooned in:Koh Samui 4too long,don't get me wrong it's a beautiful pl*Besides Nam's a big girl,she knows she'll never get 2travel on her own n Lily treats her like a sister,also she's attach 2the kids,when the kids r all grown,who know she might want 2settle down,start her own family;)
It’s too expensive to live in Bangkok. I can afford that but I won’t live there. Too congested 👎🏿
Me too
WOW Nam is a gem...Bangkok , a great move!!!
I think BKK will be fun to explore, but small town familiarity and convenient ocean access is paradise
I think a combination of both areas are positive. The city life offers culture and opportunity. I lived in Los Angeles for 32 years. I now live in the country in Arizona. Both areas gave me opportunity and growth. Enjoy!!
l guess between going 2Bangkok or adapting in:US l'm sure u'll know wht Wat prefers;)Gdluck Lily don't even bother abt the bathers!Take care;)*
I didn't know that Nam is also full of humor; so many beautiful attributes! I couldn't stop smiling while watching you both describe and enjoy your croissant-doughnut combo. Also her joke about being in heaven while wearing a Nirvana inscription was quite interesting.
If I have to choose between a country life and a city life, I will always go for the country life, or something in between. I wish you and your family all the best Lilly.
I think life is so short. If you can experience all bkk has to offer, go for it. You can always return at some point.
Nam has great sense of humour. Love her attitude. Very cheerful. God loves you, Nam. 😍
You are so blessed to have the opportunity to explore the life .The food looks amazing 🤩 Thank you for taking me somewhere I can never be 🙏🏼💕Enjoy
I was borned in a big city. I lived with my grandparents in the country off and on. I owned a historic house in a city in my 20s. Moved to central ky to a rural area. And that is where I raised my kids. And I don't regret it at all. It was so much better for my kids. They got to have horses, cows, dogs and cats. It kept them out of trouble.
I would have this as a experience while they are little. But they would be better off growing up in your old home town.
Lilly, I am worried for the children's safety on those balconies, especially with anything they can climb on to fall over. Also, I'd make sure you have fire extinguishers, especially in the kitchen area, where I only see one exit for that room. Please take special safety precautions. 🙏 I am not a big city gal, either. Although I do live in a big city in S. Florida, it is very tropical and green where I live, with high rise buildilngs only in the commercial areas and the beaches are a just a few minutes away, with many parks within walking distance. Perhaps you would be better off living in the safest suburbs of Bangkok - I'd investigate more for the right balance for you and your family.
@Chalice, maybe you are projecting. Lilly, Nam, and Was take great care.
Relax it's her family.
Yes. The balcony is the first thing I noticed too. Not sure whether it is because of the camera angle. Especially worry about Leon as he is too young to know of the danger. Best regards from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
🙄
.....in my view, NOT A GOOD IDEA...
Nam is such a beautiful person, so genuine, helpful, and grateful!
Thank you very much for this documentary, Ms. Lily 🙏🏽🙇🏻♀️
I have never been to Bangkok, however as city-dweller in Singapore which is as busy life as Bangkok perhaps Bangkok even more happening.
I still think having a change once a while is good to have. However as to settling down would still love to see you around Koh Samui island 😊🥰
I highly doubt they'll last long in Bangkok. This is such a change and a huge difference from island life...but I digress
As a Bangkokian, born and raised in Bangkok, I love Bangkok. However, it is so much different than Samui Island. It is a lot bigger, busier, and noisier. I don’t think Wat will like it as he is from the Southern region, with sea, sand, and sun. However, if it is for your restaurant business or for children’s education, I understand. Look forward to your next chapters in your videos.
His fisherman spirit will yearn for the sea!!
Bangkok is good for businesses and earnings money’s and more actions to do! But for young children, for me I prepared to live in peaceful place :) a bit of relaxation.
Agree
Wat and Luke will get homesick 🥴
Will def miss KohSumoi
You are now in Bangkok but your Koh Samui go fund me is not closed after last charity give out 2 years ago. It amounts to $26,000 USD
How exciting! A new journey filled with new adventures!! Live your lives to the
fullest with no regrets!! I am excited for
you and your family!! God Bless you and
your family!
I'm loving your videos Lilly, I think your straight up with everything you do and say, you never gloss over anything, you and Nam make me laugh, what an asset she is to your beautiful family.
Hang in there Lilly Bangkok is fun you'll never get bored thats for sure.
I'm sure everyone will follow your journey. ❤
Just never thought you’d live in a big city. Lots to see but, I like the small
Island feel better💕🤗
I think that you will like the City life, because it’s something new, but you will definitely miss Koi Samui and also your friends like Sonia, so it will be interesting to see how long you stay there. Keep the vlogs up because I absolutely love watching them 😊
I love the relationship between the kids, their nanny and Lilly 🥰
So good to see ur experiences of life out of ur comfort zone.
Wat is a trooper, such a gentleman, and always so calm. He holds the family together.
Nam is the blessing to ur family and ur channel. She takes nothing for granted!
U, Lily are doing an extraordinary job with the videos. Definite thumbs up on ur videos
I’ve lived in big cities my whole life (Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Milwaukee, L.A) then recently I moved to a fairly small city (less than 200,000K people) and i absolutely love it. When I get bored and yearn for city life again I am so excited to go. Within a day or two I am ready to go screaming back to the country life. I bet you will be excited to return to a quieter life but it is nice to get a different perspective every once in a while
Luke helped you to push Leon’s stroller is soooo heartwarming! 💖💕 19:25 You and Nam was like drinking and getting drunk together but with DONUTSSANT!🤣🤣🤣
You and Nam surprisingly look GLOWING and REJUVENATING in BKK!!
Have you traded paradise for urban chaos? After so many years, was the island life beginning to be a bore? Your travels in Koh Samui were so beautiful -- the food, the resorts, the pristine beaches. Of course you needed a change, but I hope Wat can adjust to the fast lane and stress of city life. Also, the city probably offers a better educational experience for the children.
Lilly..thank you for taking us on this journey with you! I'm from LA but lived & now live in a smaller city in LA county so I'm used to city life. I think from what you've said its going to be hard to live in Bangkok. It will not be as peaceful probably cuz city life is so fast moving. Praying for you all🙏😷💞
I think your move to BKK is a great idea. It's an opportunity for your channel to really grow. There's more room for adventure. And it's easier to travel to other provinces as it's in the center. I've been here for 8 years now and I love it! I know so many places around here. Hope you'd take some of my suggestions on where you guys might wanna go. Safari World and Sea Life Ocean World for a start. The kids would enjoy that. Sea Life Ocean World is just at Siam Paragon. So excited for you, guys! More blessings!
I love Bangkok so much. Can’t wait to go.
OMG welcome to Bangkok Lilly and Wat's family... So fun seeing you explore the city and Nam's expression to everything is just fun to watch... I am so glad you moved to Bangkok.... The city that never sleeps...
How exciting. You’re channel has grown so much Lily. I remember when you were at 10k subscribers and now look at your channel. It’s thriving! Can’t wait to follow along on you and your family journey! Good luck on the new endeavor.
Lily you have such a beautiful family that you are kindly sharing with us all. Nam is kind, joyful, funny and a pleasure to watch. Good Luck with your new life and I’m sure you will all settle and enjoy your new experiences in Bangkok.
Hi Lilly ! I’ve never been to Thailand but seeing Samai through your eyes was definitely an eye awaking experience . I love Samui, with the ocean breeze, organic and adorable food stalls, friendly people and small community .
Bangkok is as they say ‘tourist attraction ‘ so enjoy your vacation stay at Bangkok .
Thank God Nam is with you to help with kids . And your husband is a 💎 gem. He is beautiful inside out , a trooper !
Your kids are gorgeous and well mannered. God Keep you and your family safe and healthy .
Enjoy Bangkok .
Ps. If I ever have the finances to visit Thailand , Bangkok is NOT on my list .
Samui is my top choice .
I don’t like city life .
I prefer more the country living .
ITA!!!
Hi Lilly! You can always alternate between Bangkok and Koh Samui and elsewhere.
With due respect, Bangkok was not built and developed to be a tourist attraction. The place is inhabited by millions of Thais. Thais have been making their livings and enjoying their lives here for centuries. Later foreigners came and felt the city's charms. What I would like to say is that as a matter of fact Bangkok is basically meant for living. Vacationing in Bangkok is just a more recent trend among foreigners.
Lilly, I'm excited for you and the entire family. Show us new adventures in Bangkok, your daily lives as usual. I also love the new angles that you're filming from, show us yourself fully in the vlog more often. If it means handing Nam, your husband or even Luke the phone to film some clips please do so. I'm excited to see all you'll share with us from Bangkok
Hi Lilly, your children are very young, home schooling and you can't go wrong to trying out the city where ever you want. ❤
I think if you guys are just staying there temporarily not long term it would be a fun adventure. I think you will all miss the island and it just seems so much more relaxing and carefree near the water. Until then I am looking forward to seeing you all explore and experience city life. I laughed so hard with you and Nam trying those doughnuts! I was right there with you, the right dessert just takes your breath away!
Hi Lilly! Your videos are getting more interesting each day. I'm excited about your daily vlogs and the city life. But I think you guys, especially Wat, will miss Samui after quite some time.nevertheless enjoy the experience and rest assured of our continued support to your channel! God be with you always!❤
โอเคร
I love love watching ur videos
I think you’ll get tired of all that traffic real quick. Koh Samui will be calling you home, you’ll see. But try to enjoy while you can.😊👍
Wow it's a change!! I think you will learn to love it but I think wat will be homesick.but many blessings and the best of luck and love to you and your family! It's good you have nam to help with transitioning the kids keep some continuity for them.
Just love Nam, you guys are blessed to have her🥰🥰
Only my opinion, I would miss Koh Samui so very much. I had the privilege of visiting their one time. It was so beautiful, calm and peaceful. I just loved it, as well as some of the other smaller places I visited. I wouldn’t do well in a busy noisy place like Bangkok….but that’s just me. Blessings to you and your beautiful family 🙏🌹
Lilly, take your time settling in. Change is good. It will be an adjustment but give yourself a chance. You can always move again ☺️ God continue to bless you and your beautiful family 🙏❤️ God has a purpose for this move.
I can’t imagine you not missing the island life. Bangkok was too busy for me. Greet roof top restaurant views! I wish you all the very best! Thanks for the great videos!
Hi Lily! New follower here from California! I’ve been on a binge watching all your videos. I love your channel. It’s really relaxing to watch… maybe because of the slow-life-island vibe. God bless you and your beautiful little family.
I just not sure how long Watt can stand Bangkok life!!
Good idea to change to new places☺🍩👍...Bangkok is big and beautiful place to visit! Change is good and you can always move again. I am a little worried about the safety of the balcony. Don't let the kids be there. Greetings from Elisabeth🥰❤
I think you will be fine Lilly, not so sure about Watt. Praying for you and yours. Leon is the light and Nam is a riot and Luke is wise beyond his years !
I would be afraid of that high rise balcony with such little kids but it is just the way I think (worry)…be safe! Love the videos!
It is hard to give a opinion without knowing why you made the decision to move.
I think you’re gonna go running back to Koh Samui. Enjoy the journey!!!
New adventures! Excited to see how life unfolds in Bangkok….. Blessings 💕
Lilly’s Life moving to new place adjustment to a new environment, new experience , meeting other people in Bangkok a progressive city enjoy your adventure nice vlog entertainment enjoyable to to watch
Lilly,
Please relocate the outside clothes hanger . One of the kids can climb and fall ( God keep the kids safe ).
Hi Lilly, I have watched your family's story once in a while. It amazed me that your family leaved from Samui to Bangkok. You and your husband are strong enough to raise your children high. I've lived in Bangkok for 40 years since I was 17 and now I and my wife plan to move out of this chaotic city within 3 years when the time of my retirement comes. The place that I plan to go to is not far away from Bangkok, no more than 150 km, since I have a daughter who will finish undergraduate from a University in Bangkok next year and she wishes to be an air hostess in some well-known airline after graduation. As it is Thai culture that most parents still care for their children and will keep some distance from them even though they are mature and able to survive on their feet. Hope you and your family have a successful life in Bangkok and I will be keeping following your interesting story more often. If you would like me to share some experience in Bangkok, I am pleased to do.
Congratulations on nearing retirement and your daughter's graduation. My Thai niece has been a flight attendant for at least 15 years for a foreign airline based in the Middle East.
Congratulations 🥳 on your Bangkok move Lilly, I think it’s a great move because it gives your channel the endless amenities of Bangkok to make exciting content with.
It is so sweet that you guys appreciate everything you experience!
Hi Lily,
I have been to Bangkok many times my son has a condo there in a place called
Ratchathewi, Bangkok… plus he and his wife and son have a farm in the South near Krabi.. he works in Bangkok and goes back to the farm every chance he gets.. it’s living almost two different lives.. a work life in the big city and a relax life on the farm…he prefers the country and farm way of living. But, you have to keep your options open to experience new things in life.
Good luck with your adventures in the big city…
God Bless and keep you all safe.♥️🙏🏼♥️
Just wondering why you and Wat have separate rooms, I am assuming there is a good reason but must have missed it.
Your apartment looks great, but a 4 bed would seem to suit you better
Aww Im so excited for you all on your new adventure! You will love Bangkok! I miss Thailand so much, all my family is in Bangkok.
Brava!!👏👏👍👍
Happy to be part of your Fan Family♥️
We should learn new things everyday regardless of our age
Thanks for being one of my teachers.
Also lived in Boise as a Kid😊
I don’t think I would move from such a sweet place then moving to Bangkok…it’s really scary…but we human we adjust… a fantastic experience…life goes on …just think your island was beautiful..Best wishes
There are pros and cons. It’s good for living a better life, also much more food choices. I think you can make lots of clips for your channel too. But the cost of living in the city cost a lot more. Anyway everyone looks so happy now especially Nam and you. Good idea to change to new places new environments and gaining new experience. Really enjoyed your channel❤️
I am Thai so I can confirm that the cost of living in BKK is much cheaper than Samui. Because Samui is a tourism island and it takes the ships to convey the goods and everything from the mainland to the island. The transportation cost is high too, again tourism island. That is why the cost of living is pricier than Bangkok.
Good luck ! I’ve watched your channel when I was moving to Koh Samui and you were still dating Wat at the time. Nice to see your family and experiences grow! Good luck on your next adventure!
I love Thailand, traveled there a few times. So happy to see you are starting a new adventure, I am sure you will do well. The apartment looks amazing. Being a grandma watching my grandkids around the same ages, I got nervous when I saw the wide open railings at the balcony, please be careful when the kids are out there playing. You have a beautiful family, thank you for sharing you life. Best of luck to you.
Live in Bangkok...No Way. I love the simple life !!
I think you’re gonna miss your little village and the people
Hi Lilly, I'm so excited for you and your family moving to Bangkok. I just subscribed your channel. can't wait to see you in next video. Best wishes to you and family.
Hi Lilly! I know Bangkok and I know Koh Samui. I love them for many reasons but I'm just a tourist (even if I go there every year). First, I was very surprised by the whole family's move to Bangkok. You say you don't really have any plans but I hope you're not going to spend your time eating in all the shopping centers in town! Anyway, good luck for the future. P.S: I think that the cream inside the chocolate cake is not a crème brûlée but a pastry cream. The crème brûlée is made in the oven in small ramekins and burnt with a blowtorch. To consume with moderation !
