  • Steve Young is The Most Efficient QB in NFL History...(Payton 2nd) Retired with the highest QB rating of all time and in my opinion arguably the best duel threat QB ever...but that's a whole other video...Having to follow in Joe Cool's footsteps is almost impossible to achieve but Young did it minus 3 less Super Bowl rings but blew by Montana production wise...Young still holds the record with 6 td passes in a Super Bowl game...He was inducted in to The Hall of Fame in 2005 and does commentary for the NFL...Bottom line might be the most underappreciated QB in the history of the sport...Like, share and subscribe if you haven't...Thank you for the support and all the love 💯% 🙂

Steve was better than Montana - He just had a different level to his game. Better scrambler, more accurate passer. Montana was probably more clutch, but if you were to drop prime Young into today's game, he'd be blowing shit up. Couple Brees' accuracy with Newton's legs and combine that with QB friendly rules in today's NFL. Young would easily be in the mix with Mahomes, Rodgers, Wilson for the best QB in the league.

During the 1989 and 1990 NFL seasons, the 49ers had unbelievable depth at quarterback, perhaps the best ever in all of NFL history. It was Joe Montana backed up by Steve Young backed up by Steve Bono. During those two seasons in particular, Joe Montana was easily the best quarterback in the NFL. But the backup at that time, Steve Young, was so good that he was probably the second best quarterback in ALL of football. In other words, the 49ers backup quarterback was better than all 27 other STARTING quarterbacks in the NFL, besides Joe Montana. THE BACKUP !!! So the 49ers in the 1989 season and the 1990 season had the two best quarterbacks in all the NFL, at that time, together on their roster. That is insane. And third string qb Steve Bono was very, very good as well --good enough to start for a lot of teams himself. It is a miracle that the 1990 Giants just barely kept the 49ers from three-peating. Montana was down and out but Steve Young was ready to light into the Bills in Super Bowl 25.

Joe Montana was Never Hurt, they had him sit out and made it look like Steve young and Roger Craig Lost that Game. I've been a Niners fan since 1981 NFC Championship, the Freemasons control all sports, if not for scripting these game the 49ers should by far have the most Superbowl, and Dan Marino should have At least 2 Superbowl, if Adults can't see that these games are Scripted, why in Hell is a QB like Thomas Brady better than Montana, Steve young, Brett Farve or John Elway. The Patriot Act was introduced, and then the New England Patriots started winning Superbowls. How week was the AFC East became for a week Franchise to take over as the Greatest team ever when you look at the Roster of The 1994 San Francisco 49erss, they have more Hall of Famers than all of the draft picks of The Patriots. Can you say "The National Fixed Leauge".

Jim McMahon. He played for a Neanderthal team. Not only did he know NFL passing better then the offensive coordinator. He then had Iron Mike take over play calling. Look up vikings game 4 of 85 season. Ditka was not going to let McMahon play cause he didn't practice cause back spasms.
So fuller is having plays that McMahon doesn't get called. Like after a 7rd run by Payton on 1st down. Throw a 25ydpass over the middle. Int. Whole 1rst half McMahon is standing 5yards behind a maybe 5yds behind Ditka behind the direction of off. He has his helmet in hand for 2nd qtr. He is just making comments. Finally it's 20-7 vikings 3rd qtr. After first bear drive fails they get the ball back. Ditka just turns an realized he was gonna lose game. McMahon s first play he called was a 75yd tx to Gault. 3 an out. 2 play 45yd td pass. 5th play another td 3 for3 145 yes 3 tds. If not for Ditka ego the bears should have won at least 1 more title.

Hard as it is to believe, Joe Montana, of all people, actually had a longer run from scrimmage as 49er quarterback. In the second quarter of the 1984 NFC divisional playoff, where the 49ers beat the Giants 21-10, Joe Montana took off running out of the pocket and headed up the sideline for an incredible 53 yards. When Joe Montana was traded to the Chiefs, many 49ers fans couldn't stand Steve Young at that time and I understood why of course. One night I was heading home from work while listening to the local 49ers Radio Sports talkshow, people wear calling up and was bashing poor Steve. I took out my phone and called the show, basically saying; "I know we've just lost one of our best QBs of all time in Joe Montana. But I happen to know the tyoe of person Steve Young is, because I'm a huge BYU fan)" and that within less than 5 years, he'll win us our 5th SB." Then I hang up the phone. Sure enough, within two years he won 🏆 in the 1994 season. And the rest is history.

Blah. How many NFC championships did he lose? He is 1-3 in NFC Championships. He was a great statistically but when it came to actually winning in the big games he was not consistent. He always lost to Dallas and Green Bay. And if Jimmy Johnson had not left, he might have lost 3 straight NFC Championship games. Give me Joe Montana over Steve Young when it comes to actually winning championships and Super Bowls.
