- BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! The Tana River rapids in Kenya are well know for some of the best white water rafting in Africa and let me tell you that they did not disappoint!
Our friends at Savage Wilderness took good care of us and kept us busy for a full day. We started with zip lining across the fast going Tana River following by some rock climbing on their artificial wall and finally white water rafting which was simply thrilling.

But this weekend wouldn't been the same without staying at the beautiful Eco Farmhouse. This is our second stay on the fruit farm and just like the first time it was great. Last time we stayed at the Eco Treehouse which was outstanding and still my personal favorite and this time we stayed at the Ostrich House, you guessed it, with the ostriches! This house/Airbnb is perfect for larger groups with its tree bedrooms.

Did Rafting with Savage about 11 yrs ago and the adrenalin rush is out of this world. Yap, also managed to go in the water, scared as heck as I'm aquaphobic but loved every minute of it. I'm jealous right now and have to do this again some day. Enjoy your stay.

I went to a neighboring rafting camp 2 weeks ago. It was amazing! The water was so scary though, mostly because I can't swim. But still a blast.

The editing and quality is perfect. The Savage family is better known for rallying, wonder if they spin people on muddy roads too. And funny that you have the Carrefour bags with a lion picture that caused a scene in a village in Meru, hopefully you don't meet the bag at night alone in the kitchen.

I wouldn't bungee jump too. Dave, you would actually opt to skydive than a bungee jump. Certainly interesting. The shy dogs always warm up to Dave off camera. Lots of man's best friend.
