  • What does a nuclear strike look like on TV? It could look like this.
    THIS ISN'T REAL!
I've decided to update some of the first videos on my channel - namely, the classic BBC Nuclear Attack Warning. It's a crash course on how to survive the apocalypse for over 60 million Britons - preparing for apocalypse to strike.

Just before you enter the comment section... *This isn't real.*
It's an example of what it could look like if there was a nuclear attack against the UK. There has never been a nuclear attack against the UK - and hopefully there never will be. The truth is, the public has no idea what would be communicated. This remains an example of what could, out of millions of possibilities, be the communications during a crisis like this.

What's funnier is that all important people royalty government etc are already in nuclear bunkers before the announcement has been given.
Any known privately owned bunkers would be known about and would be already planned for taken over by military to use as sub command post's.
Forget racing off in your cars to safety as roads will be shut by armed military allowing only V. I. P pass holders through.
Rest assured government and military bunkers will be well stocked with food, water and have a filtered air supply.
You are nothing more than a sitting target a potential sacrifice.
If you manage to make it, you'll be escorted with other survivors under armed guard to work in the clean up operations, don't work don't get fed, simple as.
Able bodied citizens work for food, the rest get shot, huge food shortages meaning there is no other possible way of recovery

You can not see ,hear or feel it. Use bags of sand or grass or dirt to block out fall out dust , go as far away from windows and doors . if you come in contact with fall out dust wash your hands and face immediately. if you have someone’s corpse cover your face and hands with something while putting it in a bag or covering it up while disposing of it ( you can take it off when it’s outside your house) and you should dispose of it within 3-4 days of the person being deceased. If you have anything like paper put it far from your home, it can start a fire. turn off all electricity.

    Stay calm.
    The three threes:
    3 minutes without air
    3 days without water
    3 weeks without food.
    Also.
It’s best to stay with another person preferably one and get into the smallest room. This is because of 2 reasons. 1:The other person will make you calmer and you will both have to try calm each other down. And 2:there will be more room depending on the amount of people there is in your house. And sadly, if you can’t find your pet. Or can’t move them from their cage, etc. Then it’s best to leave them. For you and your family.

    • @JRexRegis
      @JRexRegis Před 2 lety +56

      Some more tips:
      - Never look out the window when you know a nuclear strike is imminent - the flash will burn out your eyes and permanently blind you from miles away.
      - Go as low to the ground as possible, and lay face-down while protecting your head - the shockwave of a nuclear detonation will topple most buildings. Open spaces aren't good, because you will also need cover. Things like the engine block of a car can shield you from the initial flash's heat and radiation in a pinch if you can't find shelter.
      - Once the bombs have detonated, you need to find shelter IMMEDIATELY - nukes throw up irradiated ash, dust and dirt which will rain down as debris and then as black rain later. If you stand in this rain for more than ten seconds, you will die.
