I swear UK wins for some of the most beautiful covers. 😍 Quite a few of my books I paid more just so I could have the UK editions. Nevernight and ADSOM collectors edition are two examples.
And this is the point where I realised most of my books are *ugly* and I don't treat myself to pretty covers often enough!!
Yesss - The Binding is BEAUTIFUL naked! It might have the most foil of all the books I own. (I have that edition of Circe too, but since the foil isn't on the back...The Binding wins.)
I was thinking that The Binding is one of the prettiest books I have and then you got it out! (I have the paperback and it has a really interesting texture, like a soft anti-slip coating)
i agree about sci fi covers, but i think dune is a good exception!!
Are we going to see a lot of books with foiling in one or another way? Yes, we are! And we love it!

The collectors editions of six of crows and crooked kingdom are so pretty and definitely fit under the foiled category!!

Raybearer is soooooo good. Put it at the top of your list. I will say that I enjoyed the audiobook immensely. I didn’t get caught up with the pronunciation of words, but also the narrator performed chants and songs and I was so entranced. 😍😍😍
I freaking love any foiling on hardcovers sooo much
We have very similar taste. Love the foil and the more simplistic the palette, the better. 👌🏻

Weirdly I loved the house in the cerulean sea cover so much that I bought the book solely based on that! Even though it’s not my usual type of cover

I really love how the greek mythology books look like for example Stephen Fry Myths or Heroes, beautiful.

The fairyloot editions of the Daevabad trilogy are legitimately perfect. The covers mixed with the beautiful stenciling AND illustrations on the dust jackets? I'm still obsessed with them.

I just bought that edition of the Assassin’s Apprentice trilogy! The third book arrived in the mail today. Love them!
I also love foiled covers and the white background with a bit color like the mistborn and nevernight covers. And I always love animals on the cover. My faves are cats, foxes, wolves, dragons, owls, ravens & deers. And lots of beautifull covers have trees or leaves on them like The Name of The Wind.

That's funny cause I just bought a book 100% for the cover but so far I love it (My Best Friend's Exorcism)
I do love foil and antlers (or vines and thorns) and anything that looks or feels like a linen bound book. But I also really love old fantasy covers that I grew up with. I think the best looking book on my shelf right now is The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo, I just love it.

I wish those editions of An Ember in the Ashes was not a limited edition, I haven't even started that series and I would by the whole series only for those covers, those books are stunning.
My favourite covers I own is the special 10th anniversary edition of The Final Empire, that book is so pretty (also my fav book so...^^), the collector's edition of the Six of Crows duology, A Deadly Education, Foundryside and three books of a spanish series called Laila Winter (the first book has a horrible cover, but from 2nd to 4th the covers are close to perfection for me). Also the black version of the Rithmatist, looked for that cover everywhere until I found it! I'll stop now ^^'

I really love the Poppy War covers, but I am scared to read the series. I’ve heard they are a very emotional read.
So many beautiful ones! I think I will go for 'The House in the Cerulean Sea' for favourite. Covers that I also really like are the Becky Chambers' ones, To sleep in a sea of stars and (this is a bit weird) Super sourdough by James Morton :D its a baking book without a dustjacket and it has metallic print on it, so almost like foil! The colours a just spot on.

The author of The House in the Cerulean is bringing out a new book in September (already pre-ordered it lol), that cover is even more beautiful in my opinion!

My fave covers of all time are the UK strange the dreamer hardback and probably also priory of the orange tree. I also really love the cover for the bone shard daughter hardback
To be honest you’re right that should have been here! 😅 it’s a relatively new book to my shelves so I think I just forgot 😭😂 but I love it!

I’m a huge fan of the UK Sanderson covers. The only cover in your video I didn’t like was the one of Station Eleven. Too creepy.
