These can be a little tricky. I have one and it took me 2 hours to open it :) I am a noob though :D
@@elvirredzepovic6898 Haha, 2h of fun 🙂
Hey, Potti! I have an Abus 145/40 (silver) that's in the open position. I can't for the life of me close it. I've been trying for a while buy pushing on the shackle rather than pulling on it. But it doesn't seem to work. Got any tips for this situation?
OK, found the answer in your video 271 - locked in the open state.
Thank you so much for your lessons! I JUST bought a new lock and as I was changing the password to one of my own, somewhere along the way I messed up and the top wouldn't turn back from the 180 degrees.
Watching you I copied your trick and realized I was one number off from my goal password and fixed it! Now I don't have to return it to the store pretending it's "defective" 🤣
Fantastic decoding as always Potti. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the rest of your week. It's great to see you back BTW!
Cheers buddy, thanks for tuning in.
I'm glad to see you back‼️🤗
Thanks buddy - glad to be part of the community.
Very nice, my friend. As always, the best at picking combination locks.
Thank you :-) :-) :-)
Your out of the package opening video went better than my latest video, but I wouldn't expect anything else from the master; well done.
Haha, thanks man. But not every package went so well. There was once a combination lock that took me 20min to open out-of-the-package. Guess no one wants to see that ;-)
Nice job! Great to see a new video from you!
Thanks buddy - glad you stopped by.
Great to see you back. Sneaky little lock....
Glad you liked it.
Great demonstration. Very cool to see how this is done, cheers
Thanks for watching - glad you liked it.
@@Potti314 Good to have you back making some content mate, cheers
Thanks for saving my lock. 🙏🏽 I tried for a few days but didnt succeed.
You should try picking Harrison Locks from India, I was not able to pick that one for some reason and I'd like to see you do it!
I’ll be using this information for “Ethical” And “Non-Criminal” Purposes.
Nice work!
Thanks.
is this an ok lock compared to Master combo locks? are there any combo locks that you would recommend? thank you
Great decoding. I just love to see you work on these 👍👍
I never get useable feedback on the first wheel with these locks, it always feels weird. Very nice again to see the false gate two numbers below the true gate indicating like a true gate 👌 when you had X177 and noticed the play in wheels 2-4, this was acting almost like the true gates X399. I think this is with all ABUS combination locks, so if you find a loose spot, the true gate is most likely two numbers larger (if you are dialing from 0 to 9). I made a video on that actually 😅 number [182] if you want to check it out 😊
Thanks for stopping by. Will check out your video - I'm curious to see how others do it.
I just used this method but in reverse on a opened 145/40 lock that I found -- pushed it in instead of pulling but found the code all the same.
Lovely decoding! Have to watch out for that naughty 2nd wheel turning as you turn the first wheel. The youtuber "LockFumbler" figured out a new method for these abus locks (I can't paste in the links or youtube will think this comment is spam). Thanks for doing the video and see you *later* later my friend 😜😜
Yes, that went pretty well and was fun to work on. Will check out the LockFumbler stuff. Will be interesting to understand his new method.
great job but you posted to the corner the number was 5399 but that was only the number on the side of the lock, not the alignment marks on the face. so the real combo was 5399 -2222=3177.
at least that's what it looked like
have a great day
You're exactly right with the real number.
