- Hello everyone and welcome back to the Beatles Forever. We are continuing on our journey with Peter Brown and his book the Love You Make.
Fame once more is causing trouble in this episode. Stress is heavy during this time too, not only with the Beatles but with Brian too.
Rubber Soul and Revolver were
George's favorite albums.
It can't be a coincidence , these 2 albums were recorded when george was in lust with Pattie .
I think their favorite albums were whatever they were recording during happy personal times.
Soldiers get their awards for fighting and dying to keep good people safe!
When John said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus, I was in the 6th grade of a Catholic school and he was correct.
The observation wasn’t that the Beatles were Greater than Jesus Christ.
At that particular moment in time, listening to the Beatles was something young people preferred over reading the Bible or going to church. Spirituality is great. However, church is boring for kids. I know in the school that I went to, the Beatles were more on the kids minds than the theology we studied. We knew the Beatles weren’t profits, and Jesus was our Savior, but we spent more time listening to the Beatles
Dear Brian

Good stuff!! Thank you for the info!! :)
Any time!
No joints at the palace, was a rumour... they had a ciggie/thats all
Ringo said it didnt happen..
George said it didn't as well
There's the other rumour about 1 of em (probably Lennon) stealing an ashtray, a royal ashtray
Off with his Head
I find George and Ringo far more credible on this story. The Beatles did share a smoke in the toilet at BP, a plain old tobacco cigarette :) If only all the mythology was so simple to parse.
Steve Forbett ???!!
I think this book is full of $^
Luckily he was not there? Charles only chance at doing something cool lol
