    Varney's try-saving tackle is pure gold

    Smiths tackling is immense for someone his size

      yet people still say he's defensively weak... blows my mind

    Capuozzo has been brave against van der merwe last weekend.

    THATTA BOY MARCUS. I was at that Quins game!, didn't know it was actually him who tackled Coles haha.

    tbh I don't remember if Marcus Smith's heroics from the QF with Fiji were shown in previous parts but for someone his size he tackles pretty effectively
    p.s. no matter who you are, if you play versus Tameifuna, chances are you're the small guy

    You could easily make an hour long video of just Faf de Klerk doing this 🤘😆

    David vs. Goliath; one of my favourite idioms from 2 Samuel, perfectly exemplified here.
    Lovely work as always, Andy!

    Have you ever done a video on the opposite? Where its just small lads getting minced.
    Thanks for the great vids!

    De klerk is so good at those annoying ankle taps lol

      As a South African, I can confirm 100% that they are not annoying at all🤣🤣
      But yes, if you are playing against him then I understand how you might think that.

    Most tackles by Ange Capuozzo look like David vs Goliath
    He's remarkably powerful for his size
    Edit: I'm suprised you didn't include Capuozzo's tackle on Van Der Merwe last Saturday

    • @AndrewDavidForde
      @AndrewDavidForde  Před 4 měsíci

      I thought about it and as good it was it was the second tackler who really knocked him off his stride

    • @LiamKennedyYT
      @LiamKennedyYT Před 4 měsíci

      @@AndrewDavidForde true, it did look like more of a 2 man tackle

    • @Karma-qt4ji
      @Karma-qt4ji Před 4 měsíci

      Same can be said for Kurt Lee Arendse and Cheslin Kolbe. Lots of "little" blokes these days who are punching well above their weight.

    So, a video of small guy on big guy tackles with no sign of Cheslin and only a weak-ass ankle tap from Faff right at the end?

  • @Srioll

    It wouldnt be a David v Goliath video without the obligatory Faf clip.

    Marcus Smith' lack of defense is wildly overplayed by the media for some reason. Guy can hit.

    The last one was not a tackle just what we call in France, une cuillère 🥄 a spoon in english. You english didnot change since Jean Sans terre.

    Timing and technique go a long way negating the advantages that come with greater size.
