Hiromi's such a wonderful musician. Saw her live with sonicbloom a couple of years ago, and I was in a state of musical euphoria for about a week afterwards. Nice interpretation, but not certain what you're implying at the end, when you're talking about this chuck thing. Even though I see you're keeping the pattern(and probably also the melody, based on what I see) in your left hand throughout the entire song, the fact that you could be just hammering random notes with the right rhythm and chuck could do the job, kinda destroys the magic. As a teaching tool, I see it can be valuable, but not really that relevant for professional musicians outside of maybe a studio situation.
nice suggestion, i'll modify my code and play random notes on my right hand next time ;) ... i'm just playing for fun, and telling people that this song can be played in another way, with more fun and much easier via chuck, without much piano and bass skills required ;)
