Yeah any Shield break prior to 5 seconds remaining on the clock will guarantee i-frames until you reach the ground. The Spring Ride on Puppeh was also fair imo, because it's an actual mechanic of Sonic & the opponent has the frame advantage out of it, Puppeh just let himself get reversaled.
There was a recent clip of Nairo playing Maister in Smash 4 online and he got reverse to death from the top (actually died at 0%) while doing the up b kill.
Fun fact about that final clip: that occurred before Bayo's 1.1.6 nerfs. That clip is the only time in the game's entire life I have ever seen Bayo up B do specifically that, although I could've sworn that it was Falco who got hit by that.
@@seantraynor9580 It has little to do with Ganondorf up smash itself, but with Quick Attack. SSB4 Pikachu had a jank hurtbox with Quick Attack in which the move briefly stretches Pikachu's hurtbox vertically to an insane height. I have seen a clip towards the end of the game's life where ESAM was recovering below Smashville during a doubles match, but Cloud's dash attack hit him from below as ESAM was in the middle of Quick Attack.
The Mr. Saturn one was fair. Peach's parasol just reflected it. The Shulk 2 framed Samus's tether. It's crazy, but not bs. The Ryu got clipped by the (i think Nair) of Pikachu, so that wasn't too bad. I thought for a second Pikachu's up b clipped his recovery. I think that was reverse up b with Peach on puff. That also works in Melee with Roy. I think it's because of how light she is That Pikachu jab is stage dependent. It's still funny tho Rage is jank. 100% warranted. I've seen Dabuz kill people at 0% off the top platform at Dreamland.
0:54 my theory is that Pikachu's hurtobx stretches as he stretches when he uses his up B, and it stretched vertically so Ganon's up-Smash could hit him. Due to Pikachu's position when he got hit, Ganon's attack was able to stage spiked Pikachu
Smash 4 is still the goofiest game and was fun casually for that reason, but dawg it was not fun being told that SDI hard-counters Bayo when stuff like the last clip was happening all the time
2:10 shake your head as if ur in disagreement of the bullshit you directly caused lol. I do this same thing with steve every time i cheese someone beyond belief lol
The up b multihit moves killing so early i suspect is because of the underwater physics of the game, bc auto link moves would have to have insane knockback to connect properly (like roys up b in melee on puff)
@@Logans_Login him and brawl had better single player options tho. Plus ultimate got the most stif ass movement of every smash, not to talk about the input delay and lack of neutral
some of these can be explained but they all default to animation/hitbox issues fun fact, pika’s body stretches at the end of each warp so thats how ganon hit him watch these guys play brawlhalla and get pissed at the over-precision
Well, true, but nothing will ever change my mind about it being a great and very fun game, just like every other Smash game. I still love Smash 4! I always will :D
Bro I already know the community fr, they watched that last clip on stream back in the day and were like "this is why she's killing the game" but nah when mario does its funny ig? Some of ya'll are still like that about the games you play like games are just not allowed to be janky and its like ya'll are a joke bro. stay mad about characters that to other communities would just be considered different top tiers to what we are used to in the meta.
Most of these aren’t that janky The pika ganon one makes sense when you see how the move diaries pika hitbox and his ear literally poked through the stage
@@xxnoobmaster00xx67 no, it was introduced in smash 4, like, your character would do a spin animation and you wouldn't be able to tech, making combos like Fox's nair to Up smash true even at later percents

this game was designed
It was
Was it, though?
Arguably
It was, don’t know if I would throw “well” in
Don't give it that much credit
Remember, people played this game for money.
What I'm saying
Money well spent
The prize was $100 and a hotdog
I would NOT have shaken hands on that last one tf was that
Yeah I would have been pissed
Well in fairness at least the Mr. Saturn one was technically fair

MELEE ROY 🔥🔥🔥
Getting killed at 3% just seems IMPOSSIBLE
Luigi and Kazuya:
Nah Rage was definitely busted. You can actually die at 0%
Mario Up b kills at 0%

1:57 "just SDI"
Man, I love Ganon’s Up Smash in Sm4sh.
Bro did you not see that hitbox lol
not to mention the end lag... or the lack of it
he needs it

isn't that supposed to happen with Mr Saturn and shields?
Yep
I remember that you could hit someone below the stage with a get up attack from ledge bruh
Better player alert 💀💀💀

Tbh that should've stayed in Smash Ultimate. Now his Up B is practically uncontestable

When the game is
1:27 this one don't even make sense. How did he get hit and took no damage? What
He got hit by like .1 percent. They didn’t show decimals in 4 but it was there.
I miss smash 4 & smash run😭
Okay but the clip at 0:30 would be absolutely fair for Ultimate Ganon, and I will not be taking questions
The side b thing actually still happens at the right height
It doesn't matter how much rage she has... Peach's Parasol is broken.
Don't forget every hit of Rosalina's up air
Thats true I actually wanted to include a dabuz clip but i couldnt find the the clip lol.
Melee players : but bro it makes it more complex and competitive
When they said light characters I wasn’t thinking death at 3 and 14% but yeah sure okay Nintendo
Welp, now we know that light characters ain't much.
But that 3% seemed impossible
what a good game
also the ganon clip would have happened in ult too if he didnt get a new up smash, pika still stretches I think
Is Melee more jank or less jank?
I don’t wanna say it’s the 3ds fault when it was my first, but it’s really the 3ds fault.
The stage transition jank is also in Brawl on the same stage too lol i think
