Disjointed hitbox kill screens are just genuinely hilarious most of the time lmao.
That specific kill screen had nothing to do with Yoshi up air, but the Town & City platform moving away.
Not sure why Yoshi moved during the kill screen considering he was off the Town & City platform, but that up air hit normally outside of the funny looking kill screen.

After getting off a moving platform, some of the momentum persists. That platform momentum is separate from your character's natural air drift momentum, and the game seems to forget to take that into account during a kill screen.

That Little Mac momentoat 1:50 is just standard Little Mac. Little Mac has super armor while throwing his smash punches. PacMan dealt damage to Little Mac, but the super armor meant Little Mac didn't receive any knockback at all, since PacMan just walked into the punch hitbox
