Probably one of the most complex and enigmatic characters in the haunted mansion.
This is cool they should make a movie about Madame Leota .. a prequel to The Haunted mansion movie that would be cool but they should make it a little bit more scary
"story B" hands down, it ties in so well with scenes in the haunted mansion ride ,and frontier land 😃👍
I'm pretty sure all three mansions take place in a separate universe and with it, Madame Leota has different backstories for each. In WDW, she is a witch who escaped the Salem Witch Trials and starts a shop in what is now modern-day New York along the Hudson. In Disneyland, she was a traveling Gypsy.
The similarities between WDW and California mansion, are due to the fact that they were built during the same time frame and duplicates of props were made for each. Now, going to fan fiction territory...the similarities between the two could either be explained by the fact that the same family owned them in different periods of time, and Leota having supernatural powers could have worked in both. The other one is yours, a parallel universe where the Gracey's live in Louisiana or in New York, which helps a lot to prevent all the story issues on placing Leota in all three houses in such different time periods.

You forgot how she had a cameo in "House of Villains", where she's seen with the female opera singer ghost and the parasol woman from the ballroom scene from the ride and her appearances in the Disney XD Halloween bumpers, "Kinect Disneyland Adventures", and "Epic Mickey".
I think she was decapitated by the ghost bride and then Leota joined herself forever with the crystal forever sealing her fate as a permanent resident of the mansion in order to trap and torment the soul of Constance for bringing the ruin of the Gracy Family.
She wasn't decapitated. Her face appears in the crystal ball but the effects made it look like her head was placed inside the crystal ball.
She is a TRAVELING GYPSY! Not a witch. She travels, casts spells, and eventually gets stuck in a crystal ball while living in Louisianna.
I like beginning b better . Madame Leota is one of the interesting characters
I wonder if Madame Leota is based off the Real life Voodoo Priestess Marie Laveau in New Orleans who in her day was Considered the most powerful Voodoo Priestess of her time........in the Recent Haunted Mansion movie that came out they mention Madame Leota was the most powerfull Priestess of her time in the Disney Story.

Vampire and cured the Collins family. For his vareless treatment of her Angelique s jealousy of Barnabas over Josette. It was a good series of it's time. It captured the imagination of many who had to rush home to watch it after school.
