  • Considering moving to Atlanta and wondering what it is like living in Hapeville Ga? This video gives you a look at what the city of Hapeville GA is all about. It's actually a quaint city with some excellent walkability to local restaurants, coffee shops, and a few breweries too! Hapeville is a little hidden gem with some cute neighborhoods full of bungalows and craftsman style homes (such as the popular Virginia Park neighborhood). The best part of Hapeville is that the average sales price is just over $300K and probably the max sales price is in the $700's. Is there a catch? I'm not going to sugarcoat it, Hapeville is RIGHT next to the Atlanta airport. So yes, you will hear air traffic noise, but honestly, after spending a day walking around the town, I didn't really notice it much anymore. But hey, if you work for Delta or corporate Chick Fil-A, you would have an amazing commute to work everyday! Let's take a tour of Hapeville, where I show you downtown Hapeville, some home examples, and one of the local Hapeville parks in the area.

Hi Molly, but if I were a rich man, Monaco would be my destination. Wish midtown was modeled after that beautiful little country. I think American cities have ruined their livability by not placing more emphasis on walkability. Have a great day!!

That house was probably 50k 25 years ago. However as expensive as Atlanta has become it’s a Better Deal than in NYC. That place would be 1 million. Great video. I love GA

Have you lived in NYC? Yes, it's all relative. Despite Atlanta having become more expensive, it's still better than NYC, LA, etc.

Virginia Park is the best neighborhood in Hapeville, I love it. Can you do a video on Sylvan Hills, I am considering moving there along with Hapeville. The SW area of Atlanta and SW suburbs is the only area within my budget. Hapeville right now is a bit more of a food and entertainment desert compared to Sylvan Hills. Sylvan Hills is bit closer to more quality shopping and entertainment downtown and West Midtown. If I move to Hapeville, I just may just order groceries instead of visiting in person.

Hey there! I will see if I can do something on Sylvan Hills later this Spring. Hapeville's closest grocery stores are a bit more north but I do love their little downtown area. The closest grocery stores in Sylvan Hills is about the same proximity as what you'd get in Hapeville (based on a quick glance on a map). I think Hapeville has just as much entertainment as Sylvan Hills -- although yes, you will be slightly closer to Midtown, West Midtown, Beltline, etc. if you are in Sylvan Hills.

@AllAboutLivingInAtlanta Thank you. My goal is to remain in Fulton County and as close to downtown as possible and for a lot of single median income earners like me (45% of ATL are singles who live alone), the SW Atlanta area is the last "affordable" place left. I suspect by end of year everything desirable will be well over 350K and even more out of reach for more singles

@@grayscar05 yes, the market is very tough! And it didn't help that some big corporations came in and bought 19,000 starter level homes and now have them as rentals. Ugh. Have you considered East Point? There are some cute homes over in that area in the $350K range.

@@AllAboutLivingInAtlanta Yes I have but I feel the City of Atlanta or Hapeville will have a higher appreciation, better city leadership, and better city services than East Point. Hapeville or Sylvan Hills for me, leaning Sylvan Hills

Dont go over 1 mile per hour in Escapeville the cops/public servants are sitting right at the Light to Write you a Ticket. I never liked the feel of Hateville, Have you done anything on East Point??? Thanks...

Nope, haven't done East Point yet. It's a big area so not sure how the best to cover that one yet.
