My third full length documentary, this time in a docu-series format, goes over the career and life of one of the greatest players this world has ever seen Lionel Messi, from his birth in Rosario, trough his progression from Newell's Old Boys wonderkid, to being signed by Barcelona and then developing into a club legend and eventually leaving a mark that will likely never be wiped off while developing the most fierce rivalry in football on pair with Cristiano Ronaldo and finally his departure at 34, where most would retire he would take on the task of joining PSG. With months of dedication to the project, completed solely by myself, the owner of this channel.
I hope it paid off and that this will serve as a memorial for fans to rejoice over the memories brought to us by the greatest of all time. - Sport

2017-2020 Messi is massively underrated, the fact that he was still putting up world class and astounding numbers while being in such a struggling Barcelona side, the Messidependencia of that time was insane. His numbers may seem modest but that is only in comparision of his own previous out-of-this world performances, and the fact that he achieved them in such a bad time for the team AND at his age(we also forget that since Messi was pretty much the only real threat of that team, he was hugely focused by opposing teams and most(if not all) players would not be able to perform even a fraction of their capabilities in such a scenario nowadays).

On judgment day, everyone who ever lived is talking about football and their favourite player, Pele(60s), Maradona(80s), Cruyff(70s), Platini(80s), Di Stefano(50s), Puskas(50s), Best(60s), Beckenbauer(70s), Eusebio(60s), Zico(70s), Zamora(20s), Meazza(30s), Matthews(40s), Ronaldinho(00s), Zidane(90s), Romario(90s) and every other amazing player in football.
The conversation continues for days talking about their favourite moments with these player until a little boy raising his hand, everyone goes quit. The little boy says "I lived in the greatest era of football where I witnessed the best player to ever play the sport...a gracious magician name Lionel Andreas Messi".
The fact that he was willing to stay in Barca until the end of his career given how bad that team is admirable

I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I've been addicted ever since. Your Diego Maradona and these Messi documentaries have been my favourite so far and are delivered in great detail.
As I am 28 I cannot speak of players I've not seen play such as Maradona but for for me Messi is the greatest player I've witnessed, closely followed by C.Ronaldo. I'm a Man United fan who always placed Ronaldo over Messi until after an El clasico in 2010 I had no choice but to accept the truth; Messi is superior.
The way he ran through an all star Real Madrid team of 5 players and scored has always remained with me. I was in such a shock at how easy he skipped through these World Class players.
He truly is the only player who has left me in such awe. C Ronaldo obviously has had many great moments which I have witnessed and it's definitely arguable who is better out of the two, especially as some seasons Ronaldo was definitely the superior player but for me 2012 Messi is the greatest player to ever exist.
Keep up the good work, you deserve all the subscribers and likes possible and I continue to look forward to more videos in the future!

I feared Messi in 2011 but that goal v Real Madrid in the champions league turned fear into love. A great footballing moment.
Since then Leo has been my favourite & I do rank him higher

To me, Messi's peak I'm performance was 2010/11 season. The others had more goals or trophies but that season Barca was literally unbeatable and Messi was pure magic to watch at the time

@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT September 9, 1996 he caused a fatal car accident, got sentenced to probation (so no jail time). 1997 charged for attempted rape but charges got dropped due to lack of evidence. Just looked it up on his german wikipedia (greetings from Hannover, germany by the way). There is a link to a page at the end of the paragraph but it was from 2010 and the story doesn't show up anymore. In my opinion Kluifert is one of the big what ifs of world football. I mean he scored the winner in the cl final 95 only a couple of weeks before he turned 19. Who knows what would have happened, if he didn't make such horrible choices when he was a youngster. I think the excsessive party lifestyle was a coping mechanism for the guilt he bared on his shoulders after taking another life and the rape thing... I mean he was not a complete loser but he most definetly would habe been in for more than just 90 goals in 180 games and 1 la liga title. Would be interesting to hear what else you maybe can research about him. Could really be an awsome sad story about the guy who peaked as a teenager to enter a life full of consequences for his poor choices. Who knows, maybe being a football professional was the one thing, that saved him from a life full of crime and prison time. No sympathy for road killers and rapists thouhg.
