My car was getting towed in the middle of the night at a friend’s apartment. I caught them just in time to pay the drop fee. Instead of being upset, I thought of you. I remembered it is just their job and they were doing it by the book so I wasn’t confrontational or upset. Thanks towtrucker!

I dont trust tow truck drivers either. Where I am at, tow truck drivers had a problem stealing cars. When they do legally tow your car then they will steal everything that is not attached and has value. Had my car towed a few times and every time something was stolen. The one time I took pictures of every thing in my car and the tow truck driver decided to drop it for some reason.
I don't trust liars. Especially that guy. Johnny keeps giving breaks to people who don't deserve it. Everything auto is a better channel. That guy gives breaks to people that deserve it.
The manager was very lenient. The vehicle was on blocks and jack left unattended over night. The liability would have the manager and landlord sued to no end.

@@shorty1103 Insurance companies have classes on ways to get around claims. I think automated tag scanning will do a lot more than relying on busy cops to look around for a lucky catch. I had an uncle who drove on a "Lost Tag" sign for 6 years while he was in college. He also drove like a Nun.

That first guy with the outdated plate was passively aggressive. He's not the type I'd want for a neighbor. Breaking the law by driving illegally, aggressive attitude toward a man doing his job, and he's the bully. But, you handled it with class and dignity.
That first guy was trippin. He was at the perfect height to get drop kicked right in the face while blocking the door. Good thing he didn’t do that to somebody with some screws loose.
I mean I have all valid tags and plates so personally I would be confused if my car was getting towed , but I would be demanding the vehicle to be put down because it is my property lol

In WI (and I suspect in other states as well) it is illegal to block the free view of the license plate, including the tags on it. That plate holder on the first car is an excellent example of blocking. To be legal, the plate tags have to be in certain locations, so those areas can not be obscured.

I love how cordial and respectful the tow guy is with the residents. He probably doesn't have to explain anything and I'll bet a lot of tow drivers don't even give the time of day. He goes out of his way to be accommodating to those in hard times, and that's highly respectable. People have lost their sense of communication across the board. I don't know if it's due to the internet, or people only text these days, or social media or what. But people simply don't communicate anymore. Not even spouses communicate well with each other these days. Talk to the manager, let them know what you're dealing with, they will be accommodating, but not if you don't communicate with them!
