@@millabasset1710 True and time clearly work different in the human world as shown by Celestia and Luna being alive and young in the human world but in the pony world they were thousands of years old. So the chance the human mane 6 still live but older is high chance.

A lot of people are going to hate me for this but I’m actually hyped for these dolls. I’ve always loved Equestria Girls and I’m so happy they’re back. I really hope there’s a cartoon along with dolls of Hitch and Misty to go with Sunny, Izzy, Pipp and Zipp.

These actually look GOOD! They are FAR better than the gen4 equestria girls. They put creativity in them, not a lot, but more than the past girls. I’m actually very impressed with them, this is what we should’ve gotten from Gen 4
I personally loved Equestria Girls. I have high hopes for MLP G5 Equestria Girls.
If I were you I'd lower my expectations to like 0.
I imagine if they were to revive the series, they could somehow wrap up the one with G4: establish the G5 EQ Girls, while having the G4 EQ Girls as mentors.
Equestria girls ended up being a lot better than the main show at least better than the later season's

Oh boy, G5 EQGs. Definitely saw this coming after the rise in successful doll lines we have been seeing since 2021. These look miles better than the G4 EQGs in my opinion! I love Pipp and Sunny here, Zipp looks okay to me but not my favorite, and I just can’t stand the Izzy doll haha. Curious to see about the eventual show that will come out I’m sure- likely animated in 3D which I’m sure will be well…. Interesting 😂

The sculpts, articulation, and outfits have definitely improved, especially considering as the 2013 dolls were very samey and even not fitting with the older designs. Also, finally, horn inclusion.
Interesting, methinks, is the lack of "default pony ears". Even the Minis had default pony ears.
How would an eqg Hitch look like? Would Sparky be a dog too?
Its really cool that there are going be Gen 5 Equestria Girls dolls. The articulation and clothing quality looks like a big improvement over the Gen 4 EQG dolls though. I also agree that Monster High was always superior to Equestria Girls when it came to the dolls. And I feel like Izzy's doll should have at least had longer hair, because I loved how long her mane was in the first Gen 5 movie. As for if these can compete with lines like Monster High or Rainbow High, I feel like it just cannot compare to the quality and attention to detail present in those doll lines.

when i saw that the pic was taken on a monitor, i got suspicious. a lot of fake mlp leaks were taken off of monitors. could be the same case. but if new monster high dolls have been released, it’s believable.

I was never a big fan of Equestria girls, but these are definitely better than the previous EG dolls, for SURE. Also, I love how there's complaints about the clothes- Not being in any way unique, and then go "Well yea there's a flame there, but" like as if because you don't like it, means it doesn't count LMAO. Not a dig MLP Fever, genuinely made me laugh lol

gonna be honest, i’m surprised they’re doing this! izzy looks SO bad but like.. i think i see what they’re *trying* to do with the face sculpts?? theyre different heights and face shapes as well as the hairstyles, i think theyre at least giving the dolls some level of variety as far as like silhouette and i’m glad they’re doing the articulation, and honestly i like the painting here so much more than the stuff they were putting out even for the reboot line, save for izzy (unless i do a custom lmao) i’ll probably be on the lookout for these, especially pipp, bc like.. it just works better than the previous attempt at eqg. not so fond of the idea of entertainment attached to it though even though i’m sure they’re gonna try, like all the g5 entertainment so far has been very like half baked so i feel like a spinoff is just gonna strain people’s interest in new mlp stuff possibly, i know tell your tale going on alongside make your mark certainly did that for me

When I see photo of a screen instead of a proper screenshot, I instantly think "fake". They do this to try to be more "authentic", not realizing that actual leakers never do that.
I'm not taking my mind off these dolls and the Barbie live action movie dolls and the live action little mermaid dolls!
Monster High has always been my favorite doll over the mlp eg dolls. But I, in my opinion, like the new eg dolls. They are a better upgrade than the 2013 ones. Oh and I remember all the eg movies coming out and I'm turning 17 this September. God I feel old

I really loved g4 equestria girls especially in the first few movies and specials and seeing it return in g5 does excite me quite a lot. I just hope they can use it as a way to advance/expand the already established g5 storyline and maybe make some g4 connections in the process. I also hope that they don't do too much slice of life/everyday/casual content like the last few equestria girls shorts and episodes because I just find the more action packed pony storyline more entertaining than slice of life/everyday/casual content even if some of it was really funny. Plus they can maybe add some g4 cameos if the equestria girls characters are still alive and well it would create quite a bit of hype.

I’ve never understood why the EG dolls have such huge lips, when the only characters in the EG cartoon depicted with lips were the Principals and some other female adults. If these are a thing though, I hope they make more accurate G5 EG Minis! 4:21
I’d be interested to see how they do a G5 Equestria Girls show, especially considering that the G4 pony world was at least 200 years behind the human world in technological advancements, so will a G5 EG be set 200 years in the future!? Will Sunny actually be flying on a hoverboard instead of having roller-skates?! I’d love to see that!

I drew gen5 as equestria girls and safe to say they look NOTHING like the prototypes. I think this launched because of rainbow high dolls as well as monster high. The rainbow high franchise have new dolls out every few months or so and defo in my opinion look better

This maybe wierd but since Twilight had the mirror in her castle in pony ville and Sunset was Canon. Maybe we will have a comic or a movie about the main 6 and Sunset in the human world (maybe their crystal necklaces are still out there)
I am wondering if we are going to get a movie for this. If we do get a movie there are three things I want. One I would want to see Sunset Shimmer again, maybe as a teacher or a school principal. Two I would like to see something from the previous generation of Equrestira Girls. Three What happened to Canterlot High School the last time we saw it?
Sunset as a principal would be so cool, maybe even a few of the mane 6 could be teachers like Rainbow being a sports teacher (just like she was at the wonderbolts academy)

I think it would be fine if Hasbro releases a EQG specials with the new mane 5 + Misty going on daily adventures with grown Humane 7, or at least grown Sunset while AJ, Rarity, Fluttershy, Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie appearing here and there. It would give a nice parallel between us watching the new gen pony world while being able to catch up with our beloved Gen 4 in the human world.
It would be able to satisfy old gen lovers and new gen lovers.

I love these figures and I think they will translate well in a 2d drawing or 3D if you want to go there, the outfits perfectly encapsulates the girls personalities Sunnie is just you know your everyday girl look, Izzy is the hyperactive and crafty girl so she looks weird and kooky, Zipp oh my gosh I love the direction they took with her because easily give her that punk spiky hair but instead they iron her hair down to match with her cool girl persona and Pipp looks good there was no doubt they were going to get her right

They do look definitely like monster high. Zipp looks to be in a different face sculpt I think? Zipp is the only one with their mouth closed. I might get Zipp haha. We have the same opinion! I also didn’t like Equestia girls as an idea cause yes they are meant to be ponies not people! I never seen Equestia Girls for that reason 🥲 happy the dolls are articulated yeye.

While I do hope, if these are official, that some of them have yet to receive their final designs, it would be nice if we see what happened to Sunset and the human counterparts of the main six since the original G4 series ended story wise.

As an Equestria Girl fan I think these are slightly fine, I'm not a DOLL fan but Zipp and Pipp looks better than the most dolls of EG that I've seen (that actually have flowy hair). I really wish Hasbro actually finished MLPEG because there are STILL questions unanswered and they could really make one big final movie even I have an idea of who it would be about (aka Sunset Shimmer). I really don't like the idea of them starting a new EG series when they barely finished the first.

I never thought Hasbro would actually bring this concept back. I doubt they’ll learn from thier mistakes with the quality of the dolls. I mean, this is Hasbro we’re talking about. But the dolls designs look like an improvement. I like the extras articulation they have going. The expressions of the dolls look kinda awkward though and give me slight flashbacks to the Hasbro disney princess dolls. Still, I’m cautiously optimistic and curious about where this new generation of EQG will go.

okay off topic buuut is anyone selling eg minis?? for reasonable prices??
They’ve definitely raised the bar, but the bar was so low that it’s not saying much. Their faces are much better and have individual sculpts so they don’t all just seem like pallets swaps of each other with no regard to the character they’re representing. The clothes have some effort and I can actually tell what they’re going for, I think the fact that G5 is already ‘modern’ helps the designers. A+ for the outfits for fashion dolls actually being fully cloth and having layers and accessories. I’m still not big on them, but at least it looks like they’ve studied up on what makes successful fashion dolls work and they’re putting in some effort - I still don’t exactly get the choice to revive this brand but if they keep working to improve the fashion at least it’ll be neat to see where it goes? Tbh I think even these look better than some of the G5 pony dolls I’ve seen…

As a my little pony and monster high collector I can tell what you mean by the dolls I used to have a rarity from the 2013 release before my brother broke it and I can say that they are giving a effort but don't think they would bring G5 version of equestria girls due to the slowness of its second season of make your mark and the poor reception I think honestly these may release when G5 is doing better and they have room for that kind of thing but right now it's not looking good
