    Thanks for this video. I'm considering upgrading my e5520 from an I5-2410M to an I7. If I can't find any (cheap) 2820QM, would any of these CPU fit : 2630QM, 2635QM, 2670QM, 2675QM, 2720QM, 2760QM, 2860QM ? Also, to upgrade the memory, I'd need some 204-pins 2X8GB - DDR3 - 1066MHz - SO DIMM or even 2X16 GB.

I put a 45W 3720qm CPU in my e5430, but its limited to 40W tdp for some reason, but is perfectly stable and way faster than the dual core chips that this machine officially supports. I used Noctua NT-H2 thermal paste which is about as good as it gets for bare-dies without going to something like liquid metal, which is a stupid idea as this machines heatsink coldplate is aluminum, and liquid metal eats thats stuff.

hey there. i have the same Dell as yours, but mine with i7 2640m. it was my fathers, he gave me that dell because he already had the new one. so, at the last week, i was trying to install and playing some games, most of the games that i was playing made the laptop force shut down, and when i checked at the BIOS. the shutdowns because it was critical temperatures. so, probably i need your advice. what am i supposed to do ? should i change the heatsink ? or maybe change the processor? or i have to add an external fan or cooling pad ? oh yeah, fyi. my dell is good at multitasking. it was never got shutdown when i opened a lot of things such as google, office, internet download manager, or even playing films and musics at the same time.
