    *Construction seemed sturdier than other units I considered **MyBest.Tools** Noise level was reasonable. Good pressure and cfm capacity for a small reasonably light compressor.*

    *After years of hauling around a large,💫 **allabout.wiki/PORTER** heavy, loud dewalt air compressor (that ironically was advertised as quiet, supposedly 78dB), I bought this. Facepalm. While it is not ‘silent’, I find myself chuckling every time I use it, sparing all my neighbors the terror of my former compressor. I use for inflating tires, impact wrench, finish nailers. Absolutely love it. And I store it under the garage sink in a 24” cabinet. I paired with a coil 1/2”, instead of a my former 50’ 5/8” hose that I had to lug across the yard from the shed, unpleasantly uncoil.... this little guy is light and portable; just a joy. Impact wrench is still capable of easing lug bolts, flywheel bolts, crank pulleys... just allow for a tiny bit of recovery now and then.*

    Have the same compressor. Bypass valve failed almost right away. After removing, disassembling, cleaning, and lubing the valve, the compressor works great (it would not restart with air in the tank).

    I have this compressor. For $175.00 you can't beat it for a home garage compressor. It's not a full blown automotive shop compressor. If that's what you are looking for then go by an Ingersoll Rand for a couple grand. I mean seriously, oh my, it lost pressure when running a tool continuously, seriously??? It's a good compressor.

      @iuploadvideoz  Před 2 lety

      I agree. It’s been great and I will run a shop tool intermittently. For the money it’s well worth it

    It seems like a okay. Deal for the price they sell at i actually am planning to put one either in its own enclosure or purposely built closet in the garage for occasional maintenance and minor repairs I might use it to paint or do a small sandblast job who knows I’m looking kind of foward to what type of upgrades or improvements peopl come u for this compressor as it appears to be a very well priced unit which i think will sell pretty well for Harbor Freight and i knew they had sold many of their older units they sold for years at the lower price range or entry level

    • @godzilla7148
      @godzilla7148 Před 4 lety +2

      If you're going to build an enclosure for it. Just remember compressors need good airflow. They can get very hot without it. And it will shorten the compressor's life.

    Paid $125 for mine (display unit) have had it jusr over a year Plenty of pressure and when teamed with a 7 gallon portable tank plenty of volume. Make sure you drill the water frequently I did the regulator delete (swapping the safety valve and the outlet fitting ) DON'T DELETE THE SAFETY VALVE!!!!! Increased flow considerably (if a regulator is needed use an inline)

    I'm a width of a gnat's eyelash of getting this compressor. How has the compressor performed with intermittent use of an air impact and or an air ratchet rated for 5-6 cfms at 90 psi?

  • @ronejr766
    @ronejr766 Před 5 lety +2

    Hey, I just got the same compressor but mine won’t build pressure to the full 135. I heard you say it stopped at about 130. You have that issue too? I’m wondering if that’s typical of compressors, being this is my first one, or should it build to 135 as advertised? And am I worrying too much about 5 psi?

    • @ronejr766

      Just purchased and set up mine this evening, yes, it is loud at first during the initial run and break in and I thought OMG!!! wow is that loud and then it gets much more quiet. There is a pressure relief check valve on the very top that was creating all the noise, once it ran for a few minutes and the valve closed it quieted right down.
