    Yes to cod and avocado. Not so much the others. Sacha inchi is as expensive as macadamia nuts and being promoted here because of sales comissions (ie bias), not because they are better than walnuts. If you look at the net carb content of walnuts its only 2g (4g carbs - 2 g fiber /28 g ie 1 oz). It's also been shown in clinical trials to help you lose weight + in a very large Harvard study of 100,000 healthy individuals in the nurses and doctors study followed up for many yrs, eating 5 or more servings weekly showed a 14% reduction in the risk of death from all causes. The study authors also found a 25% lower risk of death from cardiovascular disease, and a 1.3-year increase in life expectancy compared to people who never eat walnuts. Most importantly they are affordable, and because they are not as tasty as macadamias you will not fall into the trap of overeating them. Ghee, while good in Indian cooking, is not as good as olive or avocado oil in terms of overall nutritional/health value.
    When you go on any diet, eating boatloads of calories will in the end put you in a plateau for weight loss so all of the items mentioned still need to be eating in small quantities if you want to get down to a slim BMI and not just "average".

    Whenever I'm going for my "beach body", I have avocado's with eggs and rice for breakfast with hot sauce. It's the best fast breaker! It's easy on the gut and promotes great energy that can last hours. Nuts are always my snack along with "dry popcorn" before my last meal. Cottage cheese salads are another great thing to eat with high protein meal to help your fast as a last meal!! 3 days of carsio and 3 days of resistance routines and you'll be dropping fat and that sluggish feeling.

    I've tried ghee a couple times and it taste awful. Am I getting bad ghee?.

    • @Vincent_Beers
      @Vincent_Beers Před rokem

      You're getting bad ghee. Or you're burning it. Unless you for some reason hate butter, properly made ghee has nothing in it other than butter. It's just butter that's been clarified twice to remove more of the milk solids.
      If you've ever had melted butter, then compare it to clarified butter, you'll notice it just tastes like concentrated butter, ghee is just slightly more concentrated than a clarified butter that was only done once.
      If your ghee tastes like anything other than butter it's either made wrong or super old.

    • @Vincent_Beers
      @Vincent_Beers Před rokem +1

      You can also learn to make it yourself, it's a very simple process. You can use a butter you trust so you know what's in it and follow the traditional method of making it. Even if you want to buy it premade after that, you'll have a baseline for what it should taste like.
      If you can melt butter and use a spoon, you can make your own ghee. All you're doing is skimming off solids to leave pure butter fat. Watch a tutorial and don't burn it, it's easy.
