Iâm so excited for this new channel. My mom was known in our small town for rescuing animals. There was no area animal shelter. People would drop off boxes of puppies and kittens at the end of our driveway during the night. They dropped off large dogs, small dogs, sick and injured animals, etc. My mom took them all in, cared for them, and found new homes for them whenever possible. We lived on a small farm. The yard was always full of dogs and cats. I learned my love of rescuing animals from my mom. All but one of my current pets are rescues, including a lizard that hitchhiked a ride in someoneâs camper all the way from Florida to Wisconsin. Good luck to you with your new show. I know Iâm going to love every moment of it.
You and your mother are good people, not like those who abandon animals, I wish you the best for your lives
â@@ella-vn5rzThe suestion being why do people abandon their animals ? Looking for the causes would give an answer on what is needed for solving the problem...
Bless herâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
BE AUSE THE WAY YOU WERE RAISED , WITH YOUR MOTHER SO LOVELY LADY , YOUR HAVE A HUMBLE†FOR THOSE BEAUTIFUL CREATURES â€â€â€ GOD OR THE UNIVERSE BLESSING YOU đ
Love this! While wintering in Florida from Ontario Canada, a very young very pregnant panther kitty found me. My last boy kitty passed in 2021, he was a panther boy, and I vowed no more. I am 72 and I can't take the sadness anymore. BUT, into my life she waddled. I know all her history from people who live in the park year round, she was well under a year old in January and had already lost her 1st litter. She was too young, all her babies died. She carried them around in her mouth looking for a nest. How sad is that?! Well, no more little girl! I took her into our 30 ft trailer on Jan. 20th and the next day, she delivered 5 of the most gorgeous babies, all different. Did I mention we have a Border Collie too? Yeah. So, they grew healthy and strong and full of life! One little tuxie boy was adopted by a wonderful couple who were wanting to get a kitten and happened to see them playing in the window, sad but happy, he was left behind. They keep in touch with me and send pictures. Mom cat was spayed before we came home (she went into heat again) and our BC was in heat as well. Yep. The rest all made the very long trip home with us to Canada. I am keeping momma, and possibly 1 baby. The 3, maybe 4 are going to their new homes, all family members, the end of May. Our Border C loves the mom but gets exasperated with the kittens. She doesn't like chaos and they refuse to be herded. Alls well that ends well! Wow, this is really long! Thankyou for enduring the read! And thankyou Doctor for what you have undertaken!!
â€
Iâm also 72, and my one remaining cat is 16-years-old, and I hope he stays with me for many more years. I lost his sister seven months ago, and Smudgie and I grieved together. I canât imagine life without a cat, but Iâm afraid to get another cat Iâd likely leave behind. I think youâre very brave.
"She doesn't like chaos and they refuse to be herded." This is the very opposite of what border collies like! I love your story and that the
panther girl found you!
@@janeceeastwood8035 Thankyou. I have to believe it was meant to be. They will all outlive me I'm afraid but my kids and grandkids will too and they are a part of this. They will continue on. God willing.
@@1234cheerful She did absolutely. I have no doubt. Thankyou!

Blessing to you and your dedication to all animals. I have so enjoyed watching you through the years, now I am excited to watch you on this new venture upon which as You say, you have come home. Kudos to you! Blessings to your family.
I have always loved you guys! Here in the US I have never found a TV show, this channel is just over the moon, just going to love it. I have been a kitty mom for years, all strays (save a life ) and all break my heart when they pass over rainbow bridge đ my current baby is Lulu, she is 8 years old. Found her at our community park where cats are dumped. Lulu was so tiny lived in trees ate little birds. After I kidnapped her headed for the vets office for a check and spayed. Lulu is a bright color calico with a black nose and a spicy attitude to boot! We love her dearly. Looking forward to watching all your videos.đđđđđđđđđ
Your rescue cat is called Lulu, and my rescue cat is called LaLa!! She is around 3 yrs now & she came to me about a year ago when her owner (a neighbor) passed away & a family member dumped all her animals outside. Broke my heart, I would see LaLa just huddling in a nook in the tree across the street, in the rain, so scared. I set up a feeding station in our yard and she would come over and literally attack me whenever I'd fill the bowls, and then she'd scarf it all down. After 2 months, she finally let me touch her. After 3 months, she let me pick her up and I've nearly not ever put her back down since. She is a beautiful turkish angora and she will jump up into my arms anytime I call for her. She's a happy indoor kitty now & I love her so much.
Great news!
Your numbers will sore...
Just need to spread the word

So sorry for your loss. Our pet babies are a big part of our homes and they are deeply missed when they pass. Know that your girl felt your love for the time you had her. â€
I managed my best friends animal hospital for over 20 years and one of my memories was after being there for about 6 months my vet asked me to help with an emergency one night. It was an obstruction.....you know the packaging from a package of bacon....the whole package (including the bacon). She made it through the surgery and lived a nice long life minus the bacon =^..^=
I clicked to subscribe đ . Great move Dr Scott. I'm learning from you to help my local communities. Thank you for sharing your adventures and exploring with us.

Hi Dr. Scott! Bondi Vet kept my sanity through the virus, and you were my favorite! I wish I could of brought my dog to you when she got sick! We lost her in September! She was eighteen years old! Looking forward to seeing your videos! :)
how wonderful that you are out on your own! looking forward to what you offer.
Nearly all of my animals were rescues. The chickens were rescued from a lab--I got them for free. I found one of my cats meowing by the side of the road, obviously thrown out of a car. My current Siamese girl was rescued out of an animal shelter. She definitely had PTSD and needed dental work. She's my current Best Feline Friend. I've been given animals 'if you don't take this animal, I'll have to take it him/her to the pound...'
Iâm an animal rescuer. New subscriber! Iâm excited to learn more about helping animals â€â€â€
Subscribed! Always loved watching what you do, Scott!
