Cere's performance on Jedha felt more situational, like whenever we see Talzin do something amazing, it's only on Dathomir. Cal defeated Bode pretty much on his own and Bode only got the better of him with a cheap trick. 18:47 They don't have to be pushovers like Kanan, either. 19:45 I want the main characters to be among the most powerful.
This ranking list is all over the place. If the cutscenes in the flashbacks (before learning the force lift and slam Cal dispatches one with a single strike) and before fighting 9th sister (dispatched 1-2) are anything to go by he can canonically "one shot" purge troopers. As for beating Bode didn't he have him at blade point with Cal keeping him alive as seen by Cal and Merrin pushing him into a wall to contain him for the sake of his daughter? You also overlooked fact that Bode had more than enough time to study Cal's strengths and weaknesses given his background as a spy during the clone wars. You omitted Alot. On top of saying Cal's dark rage isn't a factor. The 9th sister took advantage of Cal's imbalance stating that his anger made him predictable the game clearly indicates that Cal has improved given how easily he dispatched Masana. Bode is relative to Cal their first fight on Jedha was Cal being imbalanced... Again not to mention he was using the darkside and fighting with reckless abandon. And when Cal matched him Bode was defeated needing to use underhanded tactics. Rayvis states that Cal he noticed that Cal could be Dagan's equal. Cal clearly didn't even aim to kill him since he even asks him to join him. Malicos was standing on a force Nexus (Dathomir) amplifying his power and Cal contended for half of the fight (characters also remark on the location). As for Vader. Cere on the other hand was out of practice in JFO and she even says the she hadnt grown more powerful after Vader's remarks on her growth. As for Dagan Cal was on his level in lightsaber combat needing him to turn to force be it illusions or dropping heavy objects as well Cal essentially fighting with compromised mind where even Bode disappeared.
Thank you, I’m sick of people acting like Vader hasn’t consistently gotten his ass kicked by multiple Jedi in both continuities. I’d also agree with you on saying that this list is all over the place. Lmao Bode is nowhere near Cal lol…
