@@sxuad you can fetch for hivelord, hibernation sliver, and crystaline sliver with overlord
luke 4009 or mass revive. Either make it all shroud and indestructible or just have a way to surprise bring them all back. The sliver that adds defender and draw a card to all slivers can help deflect attention, sometimes.

Muddstah - At 3:57 you could have lowered Morphlings power to 0 (you had 3 blue mana open) and sacrificed the token.
dem slivers tho. its before my mtg time. but it seems like the most synergystic tribal.
Slivers have stupid levels of synergy and cascade out of control really fast. And with overlord as the commander they run almost like a toolkit deck. Fetch the sliver you need to solve the issue.
@@Isheian Thats the best way to play. Use overlord to grab slivers needed for infinite combos and shit. Use it to tutor for the first sliver to give all slivers cascade and just poop out all your slivers lol.

I absolutely love slivers. I just hate the fact that, unless you intentionally play the deck at a lower power level, that every single game devoles to "1. cast 7/7 commander 2. tutor for sliver that makes your 7/7 commander unblockable." which just gets boring.

Damping Engine, a card so annoying even it's owner killed it. When we go back to Dominaria and maybe see the return of Slivers let's hope WotC reverts back to their original template and art style. I like the gold bordered restriction; possible future EDH Lounge episode?
EVERY possible? I don't remember the Sliver that gives all your slivers horsemanship or flanking or bushido. But, then again, I don't know all the cards.

I hate tribal decks, especially slivers. My advice for any 5 color tribal deck is to run tunnel vision targeting yourself then name either living death or Patriarch's bidding.

I do the same in my 5 color sliver deck. Its broken asf. Especially if youve been using the first sliver to cascade the whole game.

I am not in any way saying that Armen was salty, I'm just saying I haven't seen a scoop LOOK so salty in quite a while.
buddy of mine plays slivers every week. I hate slivers so much. So. God. Damn. Much.
Two wonderful cards for Sliver combat: Settle the Wreckage and Cyclonic Rift. Slivers may have power in numbers, but controlling an explosive board state at instant speed can really sway the game. Also, cloning effects are funny because you can often get the tribal benefits from the other Slivers. They will always be a pain, but at least there are a few ways to slow them down or stop them entirely.
XToverdrive 2 counters? You'll need more than that. Slivers are only good under 2 conditions. The first one is having them in your hand to cast at instant speed, the second is having some on the battlefield prior to casting them. Otherwise you burn mana on poor value. The deck is linear like that, doesn't take much to difuse if you've built a decent deck. Same thing with Memnarch and combo centric decks. Knowing what to play and when stops linear decks before they get started. I've played against more slivers than I care for, and most other players know to target out the sliver player early anyway. It keeps other problems from showing up later.
you can tutor for the 2 counters, also there are many ways to play slivers. Overlord is very flexibile, and you dont always need to swing in in with an army to kill other players. Its a 5 color commander with the majority of good cards available to fight targetting from other players.
Funny enough, this very issue was the reason I made my first deck. Blue Green infect. Turn 2 kill. Because what's worse than someone who plays slivers? Someone who playes infect.
I had to tear apart my sliver deck because it always get targeted no matter what, it's fairly understandable tho. It's very fun to play with slivers but it sucks to play against.

These were decks made for a specific theme. They are not the norm, as I explained / posted in the description section.

Rakdos and gruul deck were HORRIBLE! felt like I was watching a remake to starship troopers but the title was now sh*t troopers lose to obviously better aliens
