There is literally nothing about the s24 ultra that shares any design aspects of an iPhone
Actually go look at the Samsung phone then go look at the iPhone you’ll see some parts on it.. now they using titanium hmmm Apple had the good color now Samsung using it come on.. but will see when the sells start hitting and numbers.

Only differences i see where apple is better is location tracking of devices...their watches have more storage...and emergency S.O.S feature...i believe also the connectivity how all devices work seamlessly together

In my own personal opinion I don't think this really adds enough to warrant an immediate upgrade for me, but that's just me, I would love to see a greater increase in battery life within the next phone. 🤳 📱

Chances are I would never use so much “ new features” to busy them
The sound quality of your calls depends entirely on how much cell towers and satellites compress the it in order to transmit it faster. This will not change unless we literally send upgraded satellites into orbit and replace the cell tower equipment. If you want better sound quality on calls, ditch traditional calling entirely and switch to Zoom or Discord.

Right I want to see phones that can connect like iMessage and be phone to phone not use “cellular service” But it’s 2024 we should have some type of Wi-Fi built into these phones and go beyond cellular service
Plus I remember good old flip phones and having better cellular coverage then with any carrier

@@CT-qy4gt there’s a glimmer of hope for that now that Starlink is launching satellites that connect to phones directly. A few years down the line it should be possible for them to provide some version of LTE to the majority of the globe, allowing mobile users to bypass traditional cell and use satellite Internet to call/text one another.

S23 series is going to be the way to go. These phones are going the way of iphone. Outside new material, very minor that warrants upgrades
Honestly myself and most of my friends use smart phones only for basic stuff...call, text, whatsapp, youtube, email, basic photos, maps etc..none of these hi-fi AI stuff really matters in the real world, at least from my experience. All these still works very well on my Iphone 11 pro :) These new expensive smartphones are targeting a niche market.
You're still not understanding how the market works lol. What you do with the phone isn't really important. What you CAN do is important even if you don't need the feature. People pay a lot of money to own things that they think nice. Doesn't matter what they do with it.

Samsung Australia gave me $150 eVoucher for purchasing the S24 Ultra 1TB. I used the eVoucher to get $150 off the Tab S9 Ultra 1TB tablet. I also purchased the 45W power adapter for the tablet. I paid using PayPal. Total amount was $5,267 (Australian dollars). Arriving on 30th at our house. Gonna have to look on our outdoor home security cameras to make sure no one steals the items.

@@JDBass36 better battery density (the samsung galaxy s24 ultra literally heavier than the redmagic 9 pro + that has 6500mAh + active air cooling built in), faster charging + more durable battery life (iphone could get 80% already after 500 (so around 1 year a half if you charge the phone daily the battery capacity will be cut to 80%) even though they have the slowest charging in the market), faster pwm dimming (so it's safe for eye sensitive users), better cooling material (so that the phones could perform better/optimally), etc.
There are lots of things they can improve, but as people said before samsung is a phone that is just good enough at everything they are not the best at anything.
they pushed for all s series flat displays.... thats so not samsung..... now they are just like iphone....
They already removed all the features that have made them unique. Things like the Iris scanner, heart rate sensor, headphone jack, SD card slot, charger. Now they're just like Apple but with worse software.

$1299 "Ultra" phone with 12GB RAM -- what an absolute joke.
We've had 12GB RAM phones since at least 2019 and the cost of RAM is around a quarter of what it was back then. With AI gimmicks running locally on the phone and 7 years of updates, that 12GB RAM is going to hit its limit in no time.

EPIC FAIL! I used to be Samsung fanboy from s7 to s10 and have s23 now. Samsung used to be innovating a lot. Remember s7? First phone that had ip68 water resistance and an OLED screen while apple had LED. Now its all AI that's not impressive at all and blatant copy for titanium like apple that no one asked for. I'm switching to iPhone. At least I will have imessage, facetime, and social status. Its not like iPhone is more expensive now anyways.
