I've got a squier that I paid $440 for matching headstock , plays better than any guitar I've ever had and the sound is awesome. I've got a 59 fender strat custom which is great $2400 but the squier is every bit as good. Working class baby. My friend Buddy Church was a world class guitarist and the last 20 years of his life he play a squier. Don't knock it until you try it. Love Pete, awesome picker and even a finer man . God Bless.
Some squires are great but that's going a bit far. No matter what year your Squier was made or where it was made and how much you upgrade it, it's not going to compete against a $1,500 guitar.... Let alone a $2,400 guitar? Why get a Squier if you already had a great, expensive guitar. Something isn't adding up here 😊
You have a lot to learn if you think American or Japanese made guitars are still better than Korean or Mexican. Funny though, definitely made me laugh. Guessing you are in your 60's? 😊
