Leafs have ownership that only cares about making money. As long as leafs do good in the regular season is all that matters.
I've stated for as long as I can remember that the REAL Problem of the Leafs is that ownership is a Conglomerate... and not a Single passionate Owner!

You can’t say Samsonov played fine in game 7. Both goals were terrible. He took the energy out of the team after a bad goal on the first one and second one was even worse. This explains how little frank knows. Samsonov is the worse goaltender in the league when screened so he can’t track the puck. He is last on this stat. He can’t track the puck. He is guessing a lot. The reason he didn’t give up 5 because the d played well most of the game. He can’t steal a game. You need that in net in playoffs. Frank knows nothing if he says goaltending is not the issue. That is the main issue all these years. We had belfour cujo potvin when we won. Think about it
If woll started this series do you think we would have won this series? Answer is yes. This means the coaches made the wrong decisions and goaltending is the issue. It’s simple to fix. Start with Woll next time. He is the real deal. We won when belfour was in net, when cujo was in net, when potvin was in net etc… so we need solid goaltender. One who can steal a game. Else we need to really load up on lots of good d. Marner is not great but still worth keeping. If we win he will learn and adjust. Kid wants to play here despite all the criticism
