Great conversions! I did a slightly different approach on my Elendil conversion (cutting the foot model and mounted aragorn at the waist) but the en result is largely the same. The "rare as hens teeth" mounted isuldur isn't quite so rare anymore - GW brought it back into the range a month or so ago, but I was never a fan of that pose and your conversion looks awesome! Looking forward to seeing this army develop and how you convert a mounted captain (if you are intending to)!

Yeah, I know, but it’s very expensive if you already have the foot versions of both heroes (which many do after years of them being sold separately)

I’d also chip in that you don’t even need hand lotion, a cup of water to dip my fingers in every now and then also works
True, but believe me it doesn’t work as well as lotion - the masterful Michael Perry told me that tip!

100%. Michael Perry (who originally sculpted these models!!) advised it, and it’s so much more effective
They look great! I was thinking of trying something similar but with my luck they'd release a new plastic kit for them the next day

You may! I have some, but maybe mine are just really cheap and rubbish, but they just don’t work as well as my clippers 😂
