Wolf Den Run State Park and High Rock Trail

- We took Maya on a weekend getaway to explore Wolf Den Run State Park and High Rock Trail in Maryland.
Parks:
Wolf Den Run State Park allows full size of road vehicles on the trails. We did a few greens and blues throughout the Huckleberry Rocks area. In order to obtain a permit, go to the Maryland DNR website.
Hike:
High Rock Trail is a short 2 mile hike to a beautiful view of the Maryland rolling hills.
Stay:
We stayed at a secluded A-Frame cabin along a creek in West Virginia. The A-Frame is called the Wildflower on Abrams Creek. It was beautiful and secluded with a creek and a swimming hole. It is fully off grid with solar power and a (very clean) port a potty on site. You must bring your own water!
Food:
We ate at Queen’s Point Coffee Shop located in Keyser, West Virginia.

Glad you enjoyed the trails. There is no longer a pre-registration/reservation requirement for WDRSP. Same day access/permits are available up at the campground's main office.

Those are my home trails! I’m trying to get vid of all of them so people can check em before going. So much footage but so little time to edit and post. Great to see you guys enjoying the area. If you wanna check out another fun short off-road trail take CR 18 outside of Douglas WV to Olson Fire Tire- highest in state.
