Dude, I couldn't make that glide to the island so I just jumped onto the spikes on the castle to get on top and glided from there. Way easier

The worst thing about that game is that there is no map and it is hard to find way. There shouln't be that hard games for children. I am 25yo and have problems.
@@Astijuj In the remastered version you can turn on the map in the settings. Very helpful!
@@Astijuj really? The game is enjoyably easy (like a game to play to relax and feel good) and i managed to 120% the game in 3 days. There's nothing hard about it unless you don't like exploring.

Never played the first game as a kid. Played the other two though. Especially the second one.
I am having the exact same experience as when i was a kid i smashed my PlayStation in 1998 in frustration because i could not pass the Sunny flight level and it looks like exactly 20 years later im going to be smashing my PS4 in 2018 because i can't pass the damn Sunny Flight level all over again guess history apparently does repeat itself.

It’s such a strange game that it’ll have the dragon characters tell you basic moves and tips like you’re a small child, then throw these crazy glides at you that leave you looking up guides on CZcams 😂 I love Spyro games man
Not to mention half of them dont even say thankyou like you didnt just save their lives foold
That return home platform makes that jump such a tease.
For those who struggle with gliding here’s some hot tips:
Actually hold down jump for a second rather than tapping it, it makes a huge difference in the height you get.
Try jumping while charging at the same time then glide at the top of your jump, you’ll get further range.
Practice over and over again hitting glide at the very top of your jump. Do this on the ground rather than from a ledge where you’ll waste time and lives.
Make sure both Spyro and the camera are facing the exact direction you want to go. Adjusting direction mid flight shortens your range.

same here. I never noticed that entrance on the left.
The reason why people struggle with this part is because from "Return home" teleport platform it feels very feasable to jump and glide to where the key is, when it reality, it's pretty much impossible.
I think they should have modified the level design so that people would pointlessly stop trying it over and over again from "Return home" teleport platform.

kytothelee90 one time in the 90s I couldn’t figure out how to progress in the second dungeon in Link’s Awakening so I wrote a letter to Nintendo and they mailed me a letter back explaining the puzzle I was stuck on.
People tried and tried and figured it out eventually i was 9 when this came out and somehow i figured it out we had no choice back then Now everyone is looking for a quick answer no one has the patience to grind it out and figure it out like we all had to in the 90s when they can just go to CZcams for the quick answer even i am looking for the quick answer.

They used to sell a lot more strategy guides, though by the mid-90s most people went to GameFAQs.

12 years ago nailed a lot of things....I was a carpenter.
I remember it took me awhile to figure out how to reach that dragon when I was a kid. I was so happy when I finally reached the platform. Now all these years later I still remembered how to get up there.

I'm very happy Spyro came back out for Xbox. I was excited to play it again I played it when I was little and it brings back so much great memories with this game.

One of the best guides ever and it’s beyond ridiculous it has 118 dislikes!
The infuriating thing is even if you DO see the platform and go to it, the area you need to get to the last dragon is around a blind corner with no way of telling that it's even there. If you went for the obvious platforms you'd miss the key and the remaining gems and dragon.
Blind corners can see if they get lasik

If you want to be even more efficient you can pay someone to pay the game for you. That's what I did. Saves tons of time!
Man one of the eariler levels I played had jump where you had to run to get speed and then glide around a freaking corner. When I saw what you did I nailed it first try lol. I don't really remember sypro and 100% the level. Mainly I just got stuff ,and if I didn't find anything I'd move on. I honestly forgot what all the levels were like in the original first game. But now since Im a better gamer than why back then. I can pretty much find everything without a guide. Until those serious head scratchers show up like this one was lol. The tease didn't make it any better
