Those types of men catcall for domination. Those pitiful people feel powerful when they do that, it's like a man taunting a smaller man thinking he won't do anything

I think part of it is probably the "negative attention is better than no attention" thing. Heterosexual dating puts so much pressure on one gender that I think it can wear down a guy on the lower end of the gene pool and a few of them will let it turn them into misogynistic incel pigs. Doesn't justify it of course, but it makes me think about what it's like to be in the other's shoes. As even a (imo) less desirable woman, I still get overwhelmed by messages on dating sites if I make my profile interested in men, while a man as attractive as me would have to cast many nets and usually be left on read.

Exactly. There is never a reason to harass someone, no matter how they look. In my country we have beaches where you can walk around naked, I have been on these with my family when I was a kid and I never saw someone catcalling women there, even though they were naked. After all these years, she finally builds up the confidence to wear a crop top, and the first thing people decide to do is body shame, objectify and bully her. One guy even made this disgusting song about wanting to r@pe billie. A GROWN ASS MAN DID THAT WHEN BILLIE WAS 17. SEVENTEEN. STILL A MINOR. And the song, still sint banned. Why is pedophilia so normalized? Why? This happens to not only billie and many more women. It makes my blood boil that we live in a world where we can't even walk on the streets alone because of the fear of a man objectifying us, trafficking or raping us. It's just so crazy that our parents even have to teach young women to stay safe when men are around. And also the fact that when a guy has a high body count it's a good thing but when it comes to a woman she's called a whore and slut. And the fact that the people who have the courage to speak up about their trauma are bullied and harassed even more, and then called a "slowflake" for having a reaction to it is so fucking disgusting. Then the fact that people joke about trauma and call it dark humor is just so sad. How can u be that horrible of a person. It's just horrifying.
