Went with the Sanus vlt7 recently. Really happy with it and has really good movement for easy adjustments or cable changes.
Your timing is PERFECT. I went with the Pearlsmith single stud Full Motion TV Wall Mount for 26-60 Inch TVs. It will be in the corner of a spare bedroom on a 40” TV.
Update
I wish I watched this before buying two Sanus mounts. I needed two for an lg c3 65in and lg 55inch. For the price tag, $90 each, it was a pain and very specific to vesa pattern on the tv. I ended up returning both since lining up the holes with the tv, I wasn’t able to properly installed the stupid one little security screw that was the only way to keep the tv leveled. I just ended up going for two different mounting dream mounts. They’re straight to the point and very good being universal. Thanks for your guide!
Your experience speaks volumes. Thanks for the great info!
This video is excellent! Answered all my questions. Thanks!
For my 65" Sony OLED TV, I went with a monoprice wall mount, the simple type with tilt adjustment. The model I chose had an extra wide about 34" wide mounting plate since a stud was right in the center where the mount would go and that allows it to mount with screws to studs on both sides and in the middle, studs 16" apart. That model sells for $20-30 so similar to others that have plates that aren't that wide.
Can be overkill. Some tvs are barely 34" wide. You can just off set the mount to catch 2 studs but I'm sure it worked out fine. People worry about it falling down, but you can mount most tvs on a single stud.
Those Pipi's were a great deal during the Amazon sale, but regular price is still great! Picked up FOUR for my new crib! Thanks for being there for us B!
I just got one too. Can’t figure out which combination of bolts and spacers to use with my 65” Samsung curved tv. Any ideas?
Mounting Dream MD2298 is a really good full motion mount for a 75". I just installed it. Fits all stud placements.
thanks for all the info... appreciate it - I'm installing a full motion mount for 55" Samsung Quantum OLED only about 30 lbs and found a full motion mount on Amazon - putting in a box/hole above fireplace and having to extend 24" out so that it is flush with wall... above mantle and fireplace...
Great video B! I have a stud pretty much dead center of the wall I want to mount my LG 65" OLED TV. Do you recommend getting something like the Mounting Dream MD2268-XL so I can hit 2-3 studs?
Would love your opinion on the Sanus BLT3-B1 4D tilt mount. It's half the price of the Sanus full motion and has the knobs like the rocket fish tilt to keep it more secure. You ever use this one?
Can you finish your Hisense review? I really want to know how the 75 inch ads panel performs compared the the VA variant.
Have you reviewed tv stands that use vesa mount? I just got a wali universal tv stand tvs001 but wondering if i should have got tv stand pedestal. The legs on TV are too far apart to fit so need something in middle.
Is the Mounting Dream Flush TV Mount, as shown at the 6:10 mark in the video, compatible and suitable for the Samsung S90C 77" TV? I'm particularly fond of the fixed and flush mount setup of my current TV and would like to maintain that aesthetic
I recently bought an Sony X95L and EchoGear wall mount that you showed, it’s rated at 125lbs and my tv is 114lbs.. should I return it and purchase the HumanCentric wall that you suggested? it’s rated at 176lbs which I’ll be more comfortable..
Question: I have a decent mounting system already installed in my new home. (Monoprice product ID 12986) Unfortunately, the previous owner sold the TV with the bracket system still attached. So I'm left with the mounting system but no brackets. I assume there's an easy way to jerry-rig a different bracket system to the current mount, but how do I check which brackets will fit my current wall mount? Is it just easier to take the whole thing off the wall and install a new system? Thanks.
What are some good mounts. For 85 inch Sony 90L?
Hi, ideally I'd like an articulating bracket for Sony 77 OLED that can take the weight without it tilting forward due to the weight of the TV, is there anything you can suggest? Thanks!
I have a Sony KDL-V40XBR1. I want to use it in my semi truck. What is the best mount to buy for it that isn't too rigid because trucks bounce around? Thanks in advance.
whats a good mount for an oled where I want to mount a power strip and cable box and a mac mini behind it
What would be a good mount for plaster wall.
@BTheInstaller what size toggle bolts should I use for the pipishell tv wall mount for 26-65
Hi B, 75” slight tilt only, what is the current slimmest model / brand
Hi B The Installer are you still using the Mounting Dream UL MD2380?
I really like your channel. A lot of great information.
This is fabulous, thank you!
Will my sony x90k 55" 2022 fit into a 400x400mm wall mount?
Any recommendations for a 50 inch Vizio fixed wall mount?
Great video. Thanks B 👍
I like your videos! Theyre very informative! However, whats the difference between 60 hz vs 120 hz refresh rate and how does it effect your viewing?
It's how many times per second the image on the screen refreshes. So if you were watching sports or gaming. You see a baseball being hit disappear or the football out of a QBs hand look fuzzy after his throw...it's because the 60 frames per second cant refresh fast enough to keep that ball whole. 120hz+ only way to go and a big noticeable difference. Hope I could help. 😊
just got a 65xl90 from sony. I have a weird townhome so it would need to be articulating. Any suggestions?
Absolutely great video!!
How do I know if my tv is compatible with a specific wall Mount ? I got a Samsung q60r I think like 2019 or 2020 model
Dear b the instaler what tv wall mount do u neec for the 88 inch tv from lg he 8k tv that also has the peace undr the stand
Would this fit a Samsung curved tv series 8 65 inch ?
I have a question. I have a flat TV mount that I installed. I cannot reach the strings to pull that would unlock the TV. The TV is stuck to my wall on the flat mount. Is there an alternative way to unlock the TV from the mount?
Thanks a lot for this video !
Is there one out there that can just move in and out a bit to get better access to cables? I don't need a full motion one.
Informative video.
I'm searching for a mount that can mount on a half wall that can be hinged upwards and perhaps angle slightly L or R. Any ideas?
Could you just mount one upside down? ??
looking for pne that goes close to the wall but comes out and swivels as far as possible for a a95k what is my options
Great video! What do you recommend for 77” S90C against metal studs?
what did you end up getting?
Harbor Freight for my LG 65 downstairs and same for my 55 LG.Full motion and giant mounting plate, clips for TV cord,I purchased the second mount during holiday so it was 30$ normal is 50$.
Great video. Thank you Sir.
Do you think a full motion swivel mount can be done on metal studs for my TCL 65” that weighs around 55lbs (25kg)? None of the installers are confident here to install on metal studs with the weight here in Australia. Was looking to get a Mounting Dream because can’t get Pipishell locally here on Amazon?
In America, I do them often on metal studs in that situation. Normally metal studs are 24 inches apart here so I normally have a mount that covers 2 studs for extending it out. Flatter mounts, I do 1. The weight is not an issue for metal studs
Walmart has the big Pearlsmith PSLFK10 for $35 right now. It even has a mounting template and a level.
Whats the best for 55’’ with swivel? Not too expensive
Thank you so much for your great video.
Your videos are the most informative and well edited of any I've watched. Thank you. You've been a big help pointing me in the right direction.
I've had very good luck with Monoprice - great quality, excellent price.
Im just curious if you have a 80lb 40" TV and a 20lb 70", does size really matter? I just dont think size would really have anything to do with it now that TVs are so light.
You have a recommendation for a pull down tv mount; 65 in tv
What are your thoughts on pull down mounts? Any recommendations for a 65 with a sound bar? (If possible)
The pull down type mounts are good if that is your plan. Momoprice or Mantel mounts.
B The Installer. Thanks for your wonderful work and sharing all valuable information. Got a question for you. I have a 65 inch LG LED TV and am upgrading to a Sony A80L 77 inch. Can I use the same TV mount or do I need to change?
Tough to know for sure but normally 77" tvs have similar patterns. Check what size pattern is on the current tv and on the new one.. it's found on best buy site
@@BTheInstaller when you say size pattern means VESA pattern or the weight?
Thanks for this video
Which mount for an 83" Sony A90J OLED?
Brandon, thank you for all your information. I find your advice and videos very helpful and I have a quick question I watched your top rated TV mounts for 2023 and I was curious if you had a suggestion for a TV mount that extends up to 40+ inches and has a 180 turn thanks for your time
I forgot to mention, I saw one called the mounting dream, long arm and physix wall mount just wondering if either of these are a good choice. Thanks again.
Mounts don't typically extend that far as they put too much stress on the walls. I made videos on TV mounts to get, Mounting Dream is good, there is a human centric large arm for $149on Amazon as well. Plenty to choose from.
Thank you
@@BTheInstaller55” x90L . Fixed BB or MD ? Preference ? Or equal quality ? Not looking for cheapest . Thx B
Any good MantleMount alternatives?
Don't judge I know this is going to sound like a stupid question. First I have mounted plenty of TV's in the past always to studs though. But with a 77" LG G3 I would like to use the no gap mount. My wall though has one stud direct middle where I want. They supply anchors with the no gap is it made also to not need studs. Watching LG mount video they don't mention studs but seems fishy please anyone HELP!?
So no Monoprice mounts recommended?
Thanks for information
No problem. This is mostly for those buying new tvs..not as techy. Have a good one Craig
Hi! An answer and ill suscribe. I cant decide between pearlesmith full motion or Mounting dream for a 77 inch. Which is the better buy? or do you have better suggestions? I see you mention human centric for 98 inch, how about for a 77 inch? Thanks!
The human centric would work but it's pretty large. Great for the money. It's as strong as the $400 Sanus mounts. Perlesmith mounts are great, the large one for $80+ is great.
@@BTheInstaller Cant say no to Perlesmith for that value if you say its good. Thanks! I have subscribed.
The coolest thumbnail ever!
Can you have the tv mount extend for long periods of time
The Onn mounts from Walmart work just fine
How may TVs u have in your home ?
Let me know when they have one with a six foot articulating arm. Where you can have a monitor mounted on the wall and pull it out and down to be right in front of you for computer work and put back for tv viewing. A 24 inch pullout doesn't do anything but help access to the back for wiring.
That will never happen because you are talking about the amount of pressure it could put on the wall vs the mount strength. You can't leverage anything safely 6ft away from a wall
which mount for the TCL QM8 85"? thanks!
What did you end up using? How do you like the qm8?
Thank you
Thanks much for the info! Like you said, the choices are ridiculous. I have studs on 16" centers but the center of the TV falls exactly on one of them, and just don't trust toggle bolts. Is there a good option for a 32" wide back plate? I want to be able to pull the TV out from the wall for changing cables and whatnot, but would prefer not having the option to tilt down, or only if the tilt can absolutely be locked. I found one on A***** but CZcams tends to delete my comments when I try to post links. It's made by "Mounting Dream" and the description says it works with 32" studs. I like the fact that the mounting plate has holes all the way across, but it does have a tilt option and I'm not so sure about it. EDIT: Forgot to mention that it's a 65" TV.
Probably overkill for a 65" but I'm sure if it has 32" wide back plate, it would hold that no problem. Most arm mounts have Tilt down. I would likely just put the stud in the middle of the pipishell $40 mount and it wouldbe perfectly fine.
Zip toggles hold 265lbs each in 1/2” drywall.
Dude I wish you did your business in my area 😂
What's your top recommendation for a 98"?
Did you watch? It was right there for you
@@BTheInstaller sorry buddy, jump the gun and forgot to edit
love your videos
Thanks !!
Which mount for TCL 98 inch Please ?

How about nailess mounts
Hello B the Installer😊
Hey Michael!! 👋
Never ever trust toggle bolts. Smh!
You don't know what you're doing.
Wow three dollar coupon!
That's the kicker right there $3 off.
Who is selling tvs anywhere close to those weights??? Ha
You doing great work please sir did you have Facebook or Whatsapp please
