Great Info B
I would use the word AFFORDABLE over CHEAP because when you say CHEAP? My first impression is the QUALITY of the Mounts
Excellent video, brother! There is so much information that is never talked about that everyone needs.
Hey B I just bought a Kanto PX650, specifically because it flattens down to 2.0” I need that shallow depth to get in a small wall alcove.
One thing I don’t see enough coverage on is how flat a full motion mount can collapse to. I haven’t found any good full motion mounts that compress to under 2.0”. I didn’t see any mounting dream or Pipishell under 2.5” thick for full motion mounts…
I your personal opinion I have a 75” LG and I’m going to mount it to drywall I have a Mounting Dream tilting mount model number MD 2104 going to mount it to drywall to studs is that a good mount
When you have a receiver, would you just run one HDMI in the wall or more? I have a Yamaha 5.1 RX-V385 system. Trying to plan
I’m pretty new to your channel. Really good resource.
Do you have a video for tips on finding a reputable installer for AV equipment in our local areas and how to screen them? Thanks.
Want to place sony a3000 soundbar under sony bravia tv. Any recc re which mount for sounbar?
B, when you mention just using the mounts hitting one stud located in the middle (top and bottom) of the mount. What type of anchor do you use in the other holes on the sides? I've seen the flip toggle bolts.
Lately, I just use the 2 middle bolts unless the tv is really heavy, 75" or larger and 100lbs or so. All my 65" and smaller can just be on the two bolts. Yes snap toggle bolts on top left and right will help balance. I use the hilti ones
Quick Question- If a mount is 600x400 will it take a 400x 400 tv? I am looking to get an new lg oled they are 400x400
How do I find good tv installer in Boston MA area? Can you recommend anyone?
So I watched a video of yours installing a Samsung frame tv and you installed a white box in the wall for the connect box to get it flush to the wall…where did you get that thing?
Hey B I was wondering if you ever had or know a lot about Audioquest brand of HDMI cables? I know a lot of people say high quality HDMI cables aren’t worth it and they are a waist of money. Also if you do know about them they have several different options to choose from. I have heard the sound quality difference in them that’s for sure but was wondering if there is a such a good quality upgrade in the picture as well across some or all the tvs you have reviewed/installed? Thanks bro
Which mount would you recommend for a 77" Sony A95L thats still quality for $150 or less? I don't really need a lot of telescoping or tilting
You don't need a $150 mount then. If anything there is a nice sanus mount that extends a little at Costco or best buy. If you need no Motion just buy a basic flat mount for $30
Hey! I was just wondering if you were still doing this stuff about a week ago, and here's your video! Hope you and the family are well 😊
Hey, yeah we are still putting out a video every week or more. Hope all is well.
Monoprice. Stupid name. Great products. They’re like the Kirkland of Amazon.
What woud be better? a TV mount that can go into brick (above a fireplace) or a cathedral style tv mount?
Super video full of useful info. Thank you. We're finishing a TV wall and will be mounting a big TV & soundbar. Timely tips - much appreciated.
