I used to play the 5p/£50 version quite a lot; albeit illegally 😅 and managed to rack up a few wins. Never a huge profit - maybe £4 if lucky - but rarely lost on this one. I just had to be sure that nobody caught me playing lol. This one, to me, was more playable that its older sibling Luck Strike (think I got the name right); then we started to see the MPU4s come out, methinks.

The only way I've ever seen it jackpot is on the mystery number 7 spot where it gives unlimited nudges .special series isn't brilliant giving a lot of single cherries which is super annoying

Wonder if the roms in these can be hacked or if there is any others that can make that gamble go past its block, to not be able to gamble up to 80, 90 or 100 quid or even past 8 nudges is a fucking sin.
I've been saying the same for years jase .I've got a caberet 100 and special series and the gamble is blocked at 20 quid on both machines .I'd also love to see barcrests mpu4 stake up unblocked too as that is exceptionally hard to win on plus crackpot where the pots don't go high enough .if you know anyone who would do it let me know as I'd glad pay for their time
