got this a while ago but slowly been restoring it .all done now so thought I'd do a vid of the game play .couldn't get the golden series but get a few good gambles .

here we have a a very rare 5p winbanker from jpm .it's a 5p version of piggy bank and superbank which are essentially all the same game .here are first plays after a huge struggle to get it to a workable vid .lots of bulbs out and not time to do the mechs so it pays but no coins in the tubes .

got this a good few years ago .needed a new battery and the terminals cleaning up .obviously it's been left on old money =50p for 5x10p s.it was in a state when I bought it years ago but now in better condition

just got a new glass made up for this .I've got a mint 5p glass but ireally needed a 10p glass .the one I had was all shot up with artwork missing so had a new 10p glass redrawn and printed .inwas also lucky enough to have a 10p top glass too which differed fro mthe 5p one as explained in the vid .absolutely love this machine and such a pity is doesn't have a jp tune .the double arrow nudge ide...

here is a vid of my newly refurbished mystery spin with a new set of bands .the bands being original but virtually mint. unfortunately the third reel is playing up as ive adjusted the band already and it appeared to have moved the other way below the win line .Will get it sorted .enjoy

This brings back memories - albeit of the 5p/£60 version if memory serves. I seem to recall this came up about 8-12 months after the first MPU4 Clubber; one you have.... the 5p version being on my wishlist but rare. I watched - at a distance for good reason - someone get a successful gamble up to & including 8 Nudges at least 15 times.... and always LOST the gamble to £60....... That machine got kicked and slapped several times hence I kept my distance lol 🤣🤣 Excellent restoration, Nick. You know what I want for my Birthday, right? If not....... Jackpot from Nudges on the infamous Stake Up. You have until October 1st. Great upload, mate.
Actually grah this one came out about a year after stake up . As it happens I've played stake up quite bit recently but I'm afraid still no jackpot .at least on this vid I got the jp tune to play !

Well actually they came out roughly at the same time as superbanks I have piggy bank glasses and roms which I will most likely put in .these are converted road runners and froghops .

Hi ant yeah a good while ago .both have since left .this one needs a lot of work doing to it as the win bank and credit displays don't work .

I was always astonished that companies brought out copies of someone else’s idea without there being any legal ramifications. It never occurred to me until watching this video that LG could have had Barcrest’s agreement. I wonder what they had to pay 😊
I was thinking the same thing Bernard.back in the early 80s there were massive amounts of money to be made in the amusement industry so paying barcrest to use their technology probably didn't bother other large companies like leisure games .

I would find a VW LT50; soup it up a tad; then head back to grab a few 80's Clubbers and invite some pals round for an excellent Bandit 🎰 Session.

Hi grah the one on the left is a mpu3 royal exchange and the Back of the other machine on the right is pot luck both 10p/£100 machines..I doubt many people would remember seeing one of these bonus fruits but I definitely remember seeing machines with that four in one type coin entry plate so must of played one or two .Steve lancett has just picked up a LG machine on mpu2 tech with the same coin entry plate.

Hi Ned. Looks like you have a few Barcrest mpu3 clubbers. Have you had any probs with speaker stopping working and what the fix was? Cheers
Hi Don, that could really be a number of things .have you got another speaker to try ?the volume control unit have you got another to try from say a working machine ?the other common issue will be that your transistor on the main mother board will have blown and needs to be changed. Its numbered "T11" .
The exact same speakers for mpu3 machine s are very hard to get hold of so hopefully it'll be the transistor on the main board .all the parts on the volume controller are also changeable if that is the issue .I would try another speaker first then if that doesn't make any difference try another main board (mpu3) .if you gat sound then the t11 transistor will need to be changed.
@@nickjames1195 thanks Nick - it's the only machine I have so I don't have spares unforts. My son is pretty handy with this kind of stuff. I'm happy to just buy a replacement speaker & board but not sure where I would get one. I could also just try and replace/solder each of the bits but just wondered what the most common cause was likely to be to give me a starting point. I'll have a look at the T11. Cheers

Another working board will cost over £100 but little transistors are readily available to buy (bcx38)I think they are but check the one onyour board first before buying .i think the main problem.with getting another speaker is the rating on them .mpu3 used a weird ohmmage 3w/30ohms .your lad could attach resistors onto a speaker to create the right rating if he has the know how .
