      Exciting! Shelf exams (or block exams) are the exams that came for each class at the end of every month during the basic sciences

      Hey! Not sure that Caribbean IMGs are preferred. Based off the NRMP survey all I can say is that what matters more is whether or not you're a US citizen. If you are, it's a little bit easier to match as an IMG.

      Hey girl! "Shelf" or "block" exams are the exams you take at the end of every month or "block" of learning. For example, at the end of every month at my school there were 5-6 exams, one for each course, each exam covering all the material you learned that month. Does that make sense?
