I wish VSAS/VSLO and FRIEDA had a better system. These are so convoluted and require students to go to many different pages, find outdated information, have a separate application system, make separate phone calls (as in your video example), etc. Doing everything in one location helps students save valuable time.
No problem! I don't think so, as electives are part of your medical school training and if you have already graduated, your university training is technically over. I welcome anyone else to comment on this as I could be wrong!
Medumentary in 6:07 for example it says “Global Observership for Foreing Medical Students and Physicians” so, since it says physicians, couldn’t be possible to enter an observership being an img in those programs?
Hey! I believe so, as clerkships (core or elective) give you hands on experience with patients instead of only observing from a distance and not getting the practical experience.
Thank you for posting this.
I'm currently in my dedicated period and will be starting rotations soon but was not aware of this.
Happy to share the info
Great stuff! Thank you so much for this walkthrough.
Thank for this great content, can you make a video or tell e how to find out about the programs that are outside the match? thank you

Aren't these residencies, not electives?
Does electives have an advantage over observership??
