This is the best straight to the point video about t pole fencing support. I went with wedge-loc products because I found that product before your video. I have a spool of 12-3 in the garage. I appreciate you increasing my knowledge.
You made my day! I was laughing at how easy you lifted that T-post pounder! I'm building a T-post garden fence to keep out rabbits, ty for video on corner bracing. My first time building a fence. Doing it solo
Man, wish I saw this video a week ago. So much less hassle bc they want to stay vs. how I did mine. Still wired them together, but this looks more solid.
GREAT VIDEO. I just built a grape trellis a few weekends ago (1 row), and it took 3 posts on each end with some special wedge brackets that are like $15 per end post. This is so EASY and cheap! My next two rows are going to be much better!
Thanks. That looks good for a trellis but there is no support for side loads on the diagonal support. Thus it would not work for a corner. I'll need to think about how to add this idea into a corner.
Thanks for watching. I do this same process for corners except I put in two posts at an angle. One facing in either direction of the fence line. Works great for me. Take care!
I took a 4 inch grinder and ground a notch in the vertical corner upright for the opposite side brace. One side of the vertical I did like this guy on the nub and the other side I put a notch in the vertical and jammed the top of the brace post into it the notch of the vertical corner. I live on solid lava so the bottoms are drilled with 2 inch mason bit about 8 inches deep. I bend the brace post at the bottom so it leans into the vertical.

Depends on the size of the dog.. haha.. I had a deer run straight into mine and the fence bent to the shape of a bell... the Tposts didnt move... Thanks for watching!

What a great idea, I'll try this on my raspberries. The old trellis is falling apart and needs redoing.

How would you add a gate to this type of fence?
I actually just made a video about that!! Check out my channel to find it
Can the same be done for corner braces?
Thanks for watching. I do this same process for corners except I put in two posts at an angle. One facing in either direction of the fence line. Works great for me.
@@fearlbridgefarms9409 - Thanks for the tip. I too was looking for a simple, cheap way to do corners.

I put a notch on the other side with a 4 inch grinder and it locks the brace in sweet.
Good idea!
pound it!
Will that fence hold dogs inside if i build one for my dog?

I wouldnt call that a tpost driver. If you can pick it up with one hand thats to much slamming for my taste.😂
Berry patch update? 🫐
I was just thinking that as well. I will try and get an update done this weekend. Take Care and thanks for watching!
