I think this detail everyone knows but I'm just discovering it and it's this detail that if you're hurt or low on health you can see how ellie's blood can drain into her hand ( I write this from Google traductor so i don't know if this is ok)
Those marks on Abby's hands are actually from the seraphites rope when they tied her hand. Keep them coming really good videos!
You can climb up the T-Rex and jump in the water. The same can be done with the train you pass by when on the boat

These tiny details are actually so good. You can't even see many of them while playing. Thats amazing.

when the game starts we can see how Joel's horse is clearly. Near the end of the game, when tommy visits dina and ellie we can see that tommy used Joel's horse to get to the girls' house. I always wondered what happened to Joel's horse after he died, and is he still alive and used by Tommy

Out of bounds request: can you see if Ellie could swim through the same tunnel Abby and Owen swam through in the first flashback and see if you can explore the aquarium more?
One detail I've noticed recently and am not sure if you have pointed it out is when you are playing as abby looking for lev with yara and you play fetch with Alice in aquarium, Alice growls and shows her teeth,turns her nose up if you get to close to her when she has the purple toy, after you're done playing fetch! Pretty cool
Man, I can't help but think that this game is a masterpiece for what it did. Props to ND
Just a thing to add to the Ellie getting tired thing (the bow)-her arm starts to shake a little bit as well
These are more specific to those who love playing around with photo mode:
- Ellie will almost always look straight up when you stand up from a crouch, especially if you position the camera/ "you" low.
- If the flashlight is on, and you move the camera/ "you" in front of the character, the character will always turn around/away from "you". This doesn't happen with the flashlight off.
- The character will frown/look angry when pressing R1/Listen mode.
- (This one might be a bug) For some reason, Ellie's tattoo doesn't seem to "sweat" like the rest of her body. It's most visible in photomode, with the sharpness setting turned up to 100.
- Pictures turn out better (higher resolution/detail) if you flip the photo to -90 and turn on "vignette" but leave both intensity and size on 0, then save it.

The only one I have never noticed before was the particles of rocks that broke from getting shot make splashes in the water. Insane detail that I've not noticed and I have over 700hrs of game time in part 2. Awesome video!
How many times did you finish the game ???
@@Oznerol1234 honestly I dont even know to be honest. It's impossible for me to calculate that, at least over 50 for sure. I play story couple times a week and encounters daily. I can play entire game with every single hud element off and no reticle on grounded ect. I completed game within 30 hours of it coming out, honestly it's ridiculous how much I play it but I truly love the combat so much and cant wait for the remake of part 1 as it's my favourite game of all time. My actual play time is 741hrs and I've got every single trophy including the grounded and permadeath one. I've played remaster of first one 432hrs on this account starting last year but that doesn't include my old account for ps3 that I had and my other ps4 account I had.

@@Hohum1945 No offense, I'm not saying its bad, but how do you keep playing? I've replayed it pleanty of times, but I can't play on a daily/weekly basis, it just gets boring for me sense its pretty linear. What do you do to keep playing lol
@@y0h0p38 I play with the hud off, everything on screen gets turned off. I play on grounded and just play through the story or try to best my permadeath runs. I just really enjoy the gameplay mate, games don't need to be open world for me to have alot of re-playability. I'm now on little over 900hrs on part 2

This is the definiton of work of art. Everyone blame this game and nobody knows how this game is perfect. Really, this game in this days give me goosebumps as fuck.
I don't know if this has been spotted yet, but as Abby in the autoshop right after you fight the scar that stole her bag, in the bathroom you can lift up the toilet seat if you either shoot it or go prone and get up running near it
Excellent find! I remember this already being covered in a previous video, but I don’t remember which one. You can actually just use the tip of your gun while aiming to move the lid up and down!

also the movement of the hammer is out of sync/reversed. it should hit the chamber right before the shot.
@@deafblindnoob2748 Yes but theres not a single game that has got that right because imagine having to wait for a second or two after hitting the fire button just so that the hammer can Chile back and fire to make it realistic. That would be annoying.
@@BanzaiCZcamsChannel the game already accounts for that with the revolver's max. fire rate. So it would not make a difference, it's just the animation that is backwards

Naughty Dog unfortunately missed a detail about the revolver. The cylinder doesn't turn during the shot. That's how revolvers works.

Edit: I believe that the clothes drying after some time is already very well known since the game came out.

I guess the dry clothes one is pretty well known but it's still cool to see the before and after since it's not very noticeable in game because of how slow it happens.
@@Speclizer Naughty Dog has always been good with the clothes drying thing, pretty sure the first or second Uncharted game had it for Drake back on PS3
When you finished the game you can turn on mods like ♾ ammo for xp
@@DavidElkind42 Yeah UC1 had it and it was insane for a 2007 game, and ever since then it's been a staple of Naughty Dog games. Very cool to see how the visuals have improved for the effect since its first inclusion though.
There are a few pool tables in TLOU1, hopefully all of these needlessly complicated but cool to watch Physics Mechanics get carried over into the Remake :)
I’m going to add a small correction to one of these details. The hammer of the revolver should pull back as she pulls the trigger back. It’s such a minor detail, but is one that I’m sure revolver owners would love to see correctly executed.

it would have been so cool to take a squad with you from jackson as ellie, they help you for a bit but in the end ellie gets all of them killed. it would add a much better guilt factor than what the game does

Go to photo mode as Ellie and take a look at her neutral expression, press L2 and go to photo mode, she’s focusing..
The revolver is off, the way the firing pin moves after the trigger is pulled, not to mention the non-revolving cylinder.

ive noticed if u shoot movable items( such as lamps or pillows) with the arrow enough times, it will start spazzing out and bouncing around the room lol works almost every time
An extension of the 2nd tip: not sure if you’ve covered this already but when your on a workbench as Ellie when you take the mag out of the pistol Ellie also pulls the chamber to release the chambered bullet. She will do this once for every bullet that is in a magazine. For example if she has 6 bullets in the mag, the first 6 times you go to the bench without releasing she’ll eject the bullet from the chamber

Ellie, Dina, Abby, and Tommy carry all their new scars(lol) throughout the story, except for the arrow through the shoulder that Ellie gets in her first
scar encounter. Abby even has Ellie's bite mark from the theater fight. It's in the same spot as Ellie's. Also Abby is immune now.

@@welinover9225 Ellie's blood carries her unique infection. The doctor's recording in the first game says, "Blood cultures taken from the patient rapidly grow Cordyceps in fungal-media in the lab... ". This means that Ellie's infection is communicable. Abby punches Ellie in the mouth in the first cutscene of the theater fight, Ellie then bites Abby's arm in the second cutscene. Abby would be infected with Ellie's unique infection. Neither of them would have any way of knowing, unless Abby was bitten by an infected and survived.

Story wise, it's obviously been very devisive.. Gameplay mechanically, nothing necessarily revolutionary by any means, but holy sh*t its the smallest of details that shines through everything.. The animation, the emotion, the way each character and npc reacts, honestly, you feel so invested throughout the gameplay, without feeling like everything is just an "npc" or objective, everything carries weight. I love it!!

I understand the game's story is controversial. Personally, I love it but understand that some people think differently, but when people say this game isn't good I can't take them seriously. Regardless of what you think of the narrative, these details in all these videos are fantastic. Add that to the great gameplay, top tier sound design, fantastic graphics and groundbreaking accessibility options etc. And it is literally a phenomenal game overall and definitely one of the best ever made from a technical standpoint.
The only game that comes to mind in terms of technical quality is RDR2, and that is hailed by many as one of the greatest games ever (and rightly so), but I just wish The Last of Us Part 2 got the same recognition for how well done it was made.

As you said in the comments under the previous video, you've shown like 200-300 details of this game, so I won't be surprised if you've covered this one before but I just can't get it out of my mind:
After cutting Abby loose and following her to the beach, getting another flash of Joel's bloodied face triggers her into confronting Abby yet again, and when Abby refuses to fight, Ellie decided to provoke her by threatening to kill Lev... but before she does this, just after grabbing Abby by her hair and throwing her into the water, Ellie backs away from her and towards Lev... and her right hand is trembling just as it did after brutally torturing Nora.
Then again the hammer on the revolver should move back as she pulls the trigger

In the Halloween store, behind the lantern monster is a Unchanged 2 Nathan Drake costume. Don't really know if anyone else has seen this but I have recently been playing through the game again and spotting all kinds of cool details!!!!

I'm pretty sure the same costume was in the Left Behind DLC of the first game, and an Uncharted board game can be found in Pittsburgh in the original, plus there's loads of other Easter eggs to other games. You can even see copies of Uncharted 2 near the start of part 2. It's really cool how Naughty Dog pay tribute to older games by making them a real world thing
Playing through the game a second time rn, still wish the story was a little better paced and a bit better written but the world building and gameplay still make me love it.
The bullet one blew my mind
The revolver isn’t realistic. The cylinder on a revolver cycles to line up the next shell. Otherwise everything else seems spot on.
