Nice relaxing day out in lake Martin, with a good mixed bag, a little bit of everything. A good amount for a fish fry! Thanks for the video

Thanks a lot! Definitely a fun, relaxing day. Haven’t seen as many gators as in the past. But so much wildlife out there it’s awesome. And some good fish especially those chinquapin.
      Good luck ahead!!

Awesome. Hope you got some of those big chinquapin as well. If not, good reason for another trip ahead!
      More from this end soon.
      Thanks for the comment.

How does Lake Martin compare to Henderson Lake for catching Bream?

I’d say Henderson better during the spawning months (May through August if lucky) and a better chance to catch larger numbers of bream.
I’m learning Lake Martin with crickets for the first time, and fishing there more due to Henderson being so high water and choked with vegetation. Also Lake Martin so close and just incredible beauty all around.
One thing for sure, the average size bream in Lake Martin has been BIG, and the bonus is you catch equal numbers of chinquapin and they are usually even larger.
      Very fun!!!
Will learn more ahead and another Lake Martin video coming soon.
      Thanks for watching as always!

@@todd1808 Awesome hope you do! And enjoy!!
I usually go to the right side of the lake into the trees down at the end of the lake. Good water movement and bite seems to be better there.
That said, the left side of the lake (when exiting the launch) is so cool looking. More swampy. But less water movement and fish I find.
