A recipe to save and keep in mind when you have little time or little desire to stay in the kitchen but you want something greedy.
You can also change and decide to use other ingredients for the filling, it is a versatile recipe, it cooks in just 15 minutes and is perfect to eat with friends or for a lazy evening on the sofa.

Recipe for 6 people -
2 large eggs
18 slices of bread
6 slices of ham
200 g cheese (1 + 4/5 cup)
270 g animal or vegetable milk (1 cup)
breadcrumbs
oil and salt
- beat the eggs with the milk and add the salt
- dip 6 slices of bread in the egg mixture and place them in a non-stick pan
- add 3 slices of ham and half of the cheese
- add another 6 slices of bread soaked in eggs
- add another 3 slices of ham and the rest of the cheese
- make a last layer of bread and add some grated bread
- pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and cook in the oven for 15 minutes at 200 ° C - 400 ° F
- cut into 6 pieces and turn over onto a tray

In germany we call toast with eggs "armer Ritter". But you can also eat it sweet. Than you use shugar with the eggs, and in between you can give "Nutella" (chocolate cream) and different kinds of crushed nuts. Very delicious as a sweet meal. Thanks for your idea. I will try it soon.
