Everyone loves Bourne's "mic drop" moments.
_"It's easy. She's standing right next to you."_
_"Get some rest, Pam. You look tired."_
_"If you were sitting in your office, we'd be having this conversation face to face."_
Though my favorite line in this one was when Bourne's looking down the barrel of Paz's gun, the line which came full circle from "The Professor" looking down Bourne's gun in his last words. _"Look at us. Look at what they make you give."_
A heavy callback, and great writing.
That small part for Clive Owen was just amazing casting. I doubt the moment would have had the same impact with another actor.
The Bourne Legacy” is a separate film that follows a different character, Aaron Cross, and runs parallel to the events of “The Bourne Ultimatum.” Both movies are part of the Bourne film series but have different storylines and protagonists.
The trilogy started with him in the water, and it ends with him in the water. Full circle, baby.
Should be a full triangle, frankly.
I have nothing witty to say about shapes.
Not a trilogy its a 4 part film and they skipped 3 for 4 😒🙄🙄🙄
Just like a red-headed baby
@@A_A_J. I think you've got the right angle on this.
Don't know if this happens to anyone else, but when they announce that Jason's body hasn't yet been found and Nicky gives that little smile and Moby's "Strange Ways" starts playing - I always get a little emotional 😊
Nicki's smile is such an awesome moment.
I agree, that was a beautiful little smile she gave at the end,not to forget that she is quite an attractive Lady (my opinion only).
Bourne Legacy was not a recast it was actually a really good film on another operative & gives a lot of more info into what they had to go through & they tied in really well to Bourne Supremacy & Bourne Ultimatum
I know, it's all about expectations and acceptances of what it is, instead of expecting it to be something it's not.
honestly, for me, the problem with Bourne Legacy is that it didn't had a one to one fight. Every Bourne movie has it.
Generally speaking I really liked The Bourne Legacy. At first I didn't really want to give it a chance since it didn't actually have Jason Bourne in the movie. I eventually ended up watching it and thoroughly enjoyed it. It stands well on its own, is entertaining, and worth the watch.
“Look at us. Look at what they make you give…” it’s heartbreaking to think about the guy from the first movie even more.
I love that what makes Bourne so awesome, is his intelligence, his strategy, how he's always thinking ahead. Even when he gets ambushed he just KNOWS exactly what to do to get out of it.
and hes always on the cusp of defeat. Hes not like some invincible guy he just thinks fast and gets ahead of the situation
You guys really should watch The Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz because it was so much better than I thought it would be. Initially, I was just like you two when I heard that Damon was not going to be in it, but I set aside my bias and gave it a watch, and I am so glad that I did!
I agree that Jeremy Renner is actually good in The Bourne Legacy. It's worth a watch. Also the 2016 Jason Bourne movie is also good. It also has Julia Stilies (Nicky Parsons) back in a significant role. Check it out.
people are so critical but they really all should be watched
It is a must watch. The story happens simultaneously to the story of Bourne Ultimatum and the movie is so cool
2016 movie was not good and its plot was so bad. I saw it in the theater and wished I had walked out and gotten my money back.
I thought the very same thing about the Jeremy Renner Bourne film when I first heard of it. But you know what, it was much better than I thought it would be. He doesn't play Bourne, he plays someone else, and it does connect to the Bourne films.
The final movie from this franchise you should watch is called "Jason Bourne" (movie 5), mainly because it reveals what everyone has been waiting for:
(A) The history between Niki & Jason
(B) Why Webb/Bourne chose to volunteer in the first place.
Jason Bourne (film 5) was disappointing for me. I didn't like it at all. Anyways it would have been very difficult to keep the high level of the 1, 2 and 3 filmscripts.
Don't like it at all. Isn't at all necessary.
@@blondymonk1535 Agree with you. I think film 5 was a *money grab* .
@@hughjorg4008 Obviously 😂
@@hughjorg4008 The problem with the 2016 film about Bourne is that he usually controls the situation, makes fools of his opponents, dominates... It wasn't enough there. Yes, it was Jason Bourne, but we were waiting for WOW moments, and they weren't there, like in 3 movies.
Also, for anyone who loves the knife fight in the first one and the choreography in this, I highly recommend 'The Raid: Redemption' from 2012, the action is so stylish and just plain cool it made me not give up on acting after a hiatus :) There's also a french action film Benlieue 13 with lots of parkour.
The Jeremy Renner one is actually pretty darn good
The Bourne Legacy is a very good movie... I hope they react to that next.
Ehh it smells and feels like a Bourne knock off.
@@andrew348 well it is, but it doesn’t mean it’s not any good.
The Bourne Legacy is a great movie, great action scenes, and very good story.
The next two movies are hot garbage. Not worth watching.
Watch them all!! The Jeremy Renner one is a refreshing change and adds a different layer of information and tension to the whole story. The 5th movie wasn't completely necessary but ties everything up and let's us see Bourne get the better of them just one last time😊
The one with Jeremy Renner wasn't a total loss as it did kind of provided a glimpse into how the next generation of these assets (agents) was made. It's different, but I'd say it's worth a watch. The fourth installment with Matt Damon was an okay movie. It had the action and twists and turns, but in all honesty, it brough nothing new to the table.
I have re-watched the Bourne Legacy few times, but only watched the fourth Bourne once. Take that as you wish.
Yeah I’m with you I actually really enjoyed Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner it ties in great with Bourne Supremacy & Bourne Ultimatum plus it really gives us more info into what Jason Bourne & the other operatives went through
Bourne legacy is the 4th. Jason bourne is 5th.
The next 2 movies are good and worth the watch, don't pass on them.
Jeremy Renner agreed to join the franchise because he played a different character from Damon. He wouldn’t have taken the role if it meant replacing Jason Bourne, which he considered Damon’s character. Despite this, “The Bourne Legacy” is still worth the watch as an underrated film.
The death of Marie is the best demonstration of Bourne's ability to improvise. He uses her for reverse mouth to mouth resuscitation.
If you haven’t already, y’all have GOT to watch Ocean’s 11 12 and 13. They pretty much coincide with the Bourne Trilogy. Damon’s character in that is nothing like Jason but the cast is stacked and it’s just so much fun.
"Omg he is killing him with a book" was perfect....😆
My fav scene in the movie💪💪💪
The thing I love in this third film is that three quarters of the story take place between two scenes of the second film.
I have a movie recommendation for you to react to: DUEL (1971), an underrated thriller from Steven Spielberg, which contains intense chase moments and a striking villain, you will enjoy.
Dennis Weaver driving a Red Dodge Dart if I remember right?
Niki's little smirk when they couldn't find his body just sum's the character up. If you don't find a body Bourne is still a threat.
Contrary to expectations, Renner wouldn’t join “The Bourne Legacy” as Jason Bourne. He explained to the Press Association that he agreed due to playing a distinct character from Damon.
One of the greatest "Got him!!!" moments on film: "If you were sitting in your office, we'd be having this conversation face to face." Add in Moby's contribution at the end, Extreme Ways.....a great song to end a great film.
Jeremy Renner Didn't Want to Replace Matt Damon According to what the actor told Press Association, the main reason why he agreed to be a part of the franchise was because he was playing a different character than Damon. He added that if he had to play Jason Bourne, he simply wouldn't have as it was Damon's character.
The reason why Niki asked him in the cafe "You really dont remember anything" and looked really sad, is because they were together before he got amnesia hents why she helps him through out the franchise
Damn it if Pam Landey isnt one of my favorite characters in this whole genre. I'm in awe of her performance every time I rewatch these movies
Please don't skip Bourne Legacy. It's not as great as the original trilogy but it's a good story and adds to the lore of the Bourne series. You'll enjoy it 👍😎
I highly recommend watching both the Renner movie and the last one with Damon. The Renner movie is more like a spin off about a different operative but it gives some background information on what agents went through, plus it's actually a good movie and really fun. The last one with Damon gives answers to all the current questions and wraps up Bournes story.
This was such a great conclusion it's hard to believe they did more.
I Loved how it ended right where it began. Bourne with a bullet wound floating away.
Took you guys forever to reach the third Bourne film. Now that it's here, congrats on finish the Triology, guys 🥰
This is my favorite of the original trilogy. I think they upped the tension, action scenes, and performances around a very taut and engaging story.
I especially love the signature stunt of jumping through the window after the rooftop game of cat and mouse. The fact the camera man had to basically jump behind the stunt guy to get that shot still blows my mind. So cool.
Unlikely...more likely to be another stunt guy or crane cam
@@-M0LE There’s a behind the scenes segment on this scene. It was definitely a guy filming who had to jump, but it was probably a stunt guy trained to position the camera while he’s jumping behind the Bourne stunt guy.
@@-M0LE Found it. Strapped in stunt guy jumping behind the first guy.
czcams.com/users/shortsqpCkvSo0Ra0?feature=share
@@mojoshivers thanks I'll try n find it ...seen a few movies with this same move and yes seen a camera person jump but on wires...the Jackie Chan one in rumble in Bronx was great but no one dared follow him 🤣
It's always enjoyable to realize for the first time the connection with this movie and the previous one
The guy Jason fights in the room after jumping thrue the window is a extrem martial artist and have been in many movies as a stuntman 😎 love your reactions 🤡🤠 Looking forward to your reaction to Bourne
Been waiting for you guys to finish the trilogy. And you didn't disappoint with the reaction.
Note that even at the time many people thought the shaky cam stuff was going overboard. But I don’t think it’s fair to say they came along way today with action scenes, with movies like John Wick. The point of Bourne is to make the fighting more brutal and fast, making it feel more real. John Wick is stylish and cool, but not realistic feeling for the most part. It’s all choreographed but also looks like it is. I do still think the shaking goes too far at times.
My favorite line in this movie is the callback to the first movie when he tells the other guy "look at what they make you give."
4:48 He’s a Spanish-German actor named Daniel Brühl. He was also Formula 1 legend Niki Laura in Rush and Helmut Zemo in Captain
America: Civil War.
Hi, a slight side track but still in the realm of films; could you guys consider creating a tribute to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy? He passed away last year, and was the sole reason I got into acting. On MsMojo there was a video about the best voice acting in animate d movies and I think he should've been included for his role in Batman the Mask of Phantasm (the scene at the cementary). I have a VA background and there are some preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. l feel like he's very underrated as Batman (ditto Mark Hamill as Joker) and even non existent in the conversation. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)
The Renner one is worth the watch, plus you get Ed Norton in the mix, too.
My favorite bit is that the same actor who plays the CIA bastard in Bourne plays the CIA chief in The Blacklist and he feels like the same character.
I always loved how he quoted The Professor to the newer agent at the end.
The Bourne Legacy is quite good actually and deals with the fallout of Ultimatum.
The latest one with Matt Damon - ‘Jason Bourne’ is really good and really rounds out his story very well.
I think it was happening the same time with Supremacy and thru Ultimatum….just in the other side of the world.
The fight with Desh is S-tier
These are great action thriller movies. Real action. Real fighting. Can see it’s him doing the action.
Bourne Legacy is a great movie and I really hope you guys react to it and the newest Jason Bourne as well. Jeremy Renner is amazing and Jason is mentioned in the Bourne Legacy. Its not a recast or a remake it's a continuation but following another agent and Jason is mentioned in the movie a few times
Bourne is the baddest dude in film! I love how it's all instincts!
I just found your channel, you two r legit very entertaining to watch bruh
They really are
The Octokrool brothers would love to watch Matt Damon opposite Edward Norton in *ROUNDERS* (1998 film)
Love the musical score of this film; it adds more umpth (lol) to the suspense.
The Borne Identity is actually good. It is the story of the fallout of shooting that reporter in this movie. It doesn’t detract from the trilogy, it adds to it and the lengths the government will go to.
The last movie, Jason Borne, brings the entire series around for a nice wrap up. Clean and easy.
I implore you to watch both. They aren’t lacking in any way.
Legacy is a stand alone (seperate storyline) great film and NOT A RECAST!! You've been mislead if you think Jeremy Renner is playing the part of Bourne.
The film centers on black ops agent Aaron Cross (Outcome #5) portrayed by Renner, an original character. In addition to Renner, the film stars Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton. Don't talk trash about what you haven't seen gentlemen.
The Soy Wars diss is PURE GOLD.
jeremy renner doesn't play bourne, he plays his own character in a side story, it's pretty good. you guys should do both of the remaining bourne movies, i'm sure you'd like em both.
dude...
They are ALL AWESOME. The Mission Impossible movies, the James Bond movies, and these Bourne movies. ALL of them are good. Please watch all of them.
The last one is good ,it gives a deeper insight on how he was interjected into program
Love the Bourne movies. Your reaction was basically the same as mine when I saw it in the theater.
Jason Bourne is probably the best of all the Bourne movies, in my humble opinion.
Glad you guys finally got to this. The Bourne trilogy is so good.
Very happy to see you guys watch the finale of this great trilogy.
It’d be nice if Paul Greengrass could find a camera operator that can hold the camera still for more than two seconds.
Someone put up a metal sign and posted it onto the Nixa, Missouri population sign. It read: "Home of David Webb". It was up there for awhile until the Missouri DOT found out and took it down. Missed marketing opportunity.
Watch all of them, the next two are still very good and part of the story.
Hey OctoKrool, I can confirmed that there is a another Bourne movie with Matt Damon, The movie is called “Jason Bourne” (2016)
Dudes stop hating on the 4th Bourne, you haven’t even seen it lols….if u read all the comments you’ll realize ur viewers are telling solid advice..
Jeremy’s Bourne story happens simultaneously with Supremacy and i think thru Ultimatum..the timeline i mean…and it has a lot of infos that will clear up other stuffs about the “training “ the agents get, etc…
The move where Bourne is flipping to get out of the other guy's grip, it's called a Flying Wheel Kick, and this is one of the only time it's useful.
In Bourne you will find out even more about his life from the beginning of his career in the agency. Think you gonna like that one😎
A popular theory is that Good Will Hunting And bourne series are connected. After he resolved his psychological issues at the end of Good will hunting, Jason bourne went to work for the CIA. Similar dialogue in both scenes where he has qualms about killing people at the behest of government.
some things I don't understand; please to fill in the blanks
In the first movie, Marie and Bourne discuss that there is no hot water. Of what significance is that....?
Movie 2, Bourne is moving through the grocery store, he grabs one bottle of vodka and knocks a few others onto the floor.
Movie 3, Bourne is in the infirmary / clinic, he grasps one bottle of medicine and knocks a few others onto the floor.
Why spill stuff....?
Thanks in advance for any explanation.
"Enjoy your egg whites" 🤣😅
Yo, A-A-RON!! JEFF was HERE 🏆
“Cinema with Step Reaction Channels: Favorite to Least Favorite
1. Ultimatum 2.Legacy
3. Supremacy 4.Identity
5. Jason Bourne”
"Jason Bourne" movie was the final one with Matt. You should watch it as it clears up some loose ends left over after the trilogy.
The 5th movie Jason Bourne is good. Definitely worth the watch. 😊
It was written in an earlier draft that Bourne and Nicky Parsens had a relationship prior to Bourne entering the Treadstone program, however this was written out, but left a hint of this in _Ultermatum_ and left it ambiguous.
There's THREE Bourne movies with Damon(hence trilogy) and THEN Renner. Then in 2016, Damon came back for "Jason Bourne."
The reason Matt wasn't in the 4th movie is that both Matt Damon and the director didn't do the movie... was at the time both believed that there was not a good enough script out there at that time to make another Bourne movie.
But, the studio wants $$$$, and they had a good story to tell. But it involves every black ops program. Not just Jason Bourne.
The reason Matt and the director of the 2nd and 3rd Bourne movies found a very good script and it ties off everything from the previous 4 movies. But in the end, there is always that one thread... Jason Bourne is still out there...
There are about 12 books in the Jason Bourne Francis, and more are still being written. So... more movie options???
Finally lads!...Clicked on this proper quick.
that look of understanding at 25:37.... is real nice.
Really glad you enjoyed this trilogy, and I enjoyed your reactions to it. Personally, I'd recommend leaving it there and not bothering with the subsequent films. The trilogy stands best on its own, and concludes nicely.
Great movie but the part I liked best was at the end when Nicki P gave that little smile when hearing Jasons body wasn't found...Yeah, she knew..
Jeremy Renner with Rachel Weisz is a much better story than the extra Jason Bourne movie.
You have to watch the last born that came out it’s damn good kills you how it all got started with his dad it’s a must see you guys are cool I love watching y’all
Please finish this series guys 😢 this is my favorite movie series with my favorite reactors! It's gold! Plz finish
Watch both of the two films left guys please. The Jeremy one runs parallel with the Bourne ultimatum and is really good on its own. And the last Bourne one goes even more into his past. Watch them both guys you will not be disappointed. If you are you can come and beat me up 🤪
One of the best trilogies aside from this one is before sunrise, before sunset and before midnight.
Yes there is one more with Damon
They did a good job of making an American James Bond.
I love how every Hollywood movie references CNN as an actual news network. Its absolutely hilarious lol.
I see that move great movie ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, you need to watch the last one called Jason Bourne starring Matt Damon to finish the story line. There is one more piece of the puzzle missing... ;-)
The next movie is called "Jason Bourne" starring Matt Damon and it is the true sequel to Bourne Ultimatum. The Jeremy Renner version is good, but it is not a sequel to ultimatum.
They did not recast Bourne, Jeremy renner plays a different agent in legacy and you learn so much more about what the cia has been up to in the series. It’s a good solo film that happens at the same time as Ultimatum
Look at you legends doing this epic movie
🔥💯
To be fair they didn't re-cast. They did a separate story in the Bourne universe.
Your reactions to his omelet order was so funny cause i did the same thing the first time, sounded so god damn good
It was just supposed to hint at the dude’s stress level. Especially paired with “heart healthy.” 😂
Still loving the intros
Other channels try to replicate
But they ain't there
You MUST watch THE BOURNE LEGACY with Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz. Timeline: It is happening at the same time as ULTIMATUM.. Some brief scenes from ULTIMATUM are grafted into LEGACY. It deals with a subject of the program that followed Blackbriar, and also with the program after that one. And it deals with issues that the world has been dealing with for the last three years. It is EXCELLENT (my favorite) andmasterfully done.
