I've seen you all over different speaker CZcamsr channels and I've been subbed just from your comments and how true they are. This is my first time watching one of your videos. Glad I did. Nice comparison and I hope you get as big as other CZcamsrs if not bigger.
Otto's Audio I currently own the whole jbl line up and I plan on expanding into the Harman Kardon speaker territory. I'm getting the Go+play in a few months, can you pick 2 other speakers from Harman worth considering for person listening?
Nick Darnell Definitely the Onyx Mini, and perhaps the Studio 3. H/K doesn't have a lot of good portable speakers, they just started getting some good ones. I think there will be more good ones like the Go + Play in the future. Onyx Mini is definitely the best along side the Go + Play. And if you want another one alongside those, the Studio 3 is the best option.
Yep it does. It's still limited by being a portable speaker, but it's still one of the best choises, if not the best choice for audiophiles who don't want anything lacking in the sound.
Hey, bedankt voor deze review! Ik verkoop mijn beolit 15 om een vifa oslo aan te schaffen, ik ben erg benieuwd ik hoop dat het de upgrade van €200 waard is.
I consider buying the A1 soon. How would you say it compares to the Oslo at low/medium levels? Is the Oslo that much better to justify the price difference?
Alexandru Simonescu At medium levels, I'd still take the Oslo over the A1. It is at low levels where the A1 can use some EQ, and then really sounds impressive. The Oslo might still sound a bit better at low volumes, but the difference at low levels isn't big enough to spend the extra 200$ for the Oslo. It is at medium volumes where you can really start to appreciate the Oslo. This is also hard to say, because the third volume step on the Oslo is as loud as half volume on the A1. So for low levels, I wouldn't spend the extra 200$, but anything over the 6th/7th volume step on the A1 (which still isn't very loud), I'd definitely go with the Oslo.
Hello, i am confused between vifa oslo, hk go + play and marshall kilburn. Portability is not an issue for me. I need quality sound and heavy bass. Pls opine
Bluetooth. I kinda sorted it out, seems like a driver issue, it mostly works now haha mostly. anyway I kinda expected more from the go play to be honest from all the reviews I watched. also the lower highs are a bit harsh for me, does this happen to you too? Oh and sometimes (rarely) it's DSP turns off by itself which I understand happens to Oluv and Toni as well
Alexandru Simonescu Yes, the highs on the Go Play aren’t perfect indeed, there is some slight harshness. But that the DSP sometimes turns of, is something that I have never had yet. Still, you can return it for something like a Vifa Oslo, which might be better suited, concerning the highs. However, it will not sound as impressive, at moments when you’re with more people, most people would prefer the Go Play (but if you want quality sound, the Oslo is definitely the better choice). Can you still return the Go Play, and if so, are you willing to do that?
Yea I think I have 14 days to return it and I've been debating with myself since day 1.. I really want to like this speaker but with quite a lot of songs it's a bit too bright.
Ok so without the grill, the sound improves *quite a lot*. The highs are no more harsh and sounding off so that's sorted. But the Level of the treble is still a bit high for my taste, sounding tiring and a unbalanced. I will probably send it back.. I hate doing this because I wanted this speaker to be good and the design/build quality is also awesome.

Otto's Audio Thank you, I can find a Onyx 3 for pretty cheap, might get one this weekend.
im both a fan of vifa and harmankardon
Vifa have the sound in other level fellas..

Peace and harmony

LC KITE Dat weet ik wel bijna zeker! De Vifa is vrijwel onverslaanbaar als het gaat om kwaliteit geluid.
Hoe veel heb jij betaald voor de Oslo? Op de duitse amazon varieert de prijs nogal
LC KITE 440€, volgens mij.
congrats on the purchase Otto! what's next? haha I'd take a listen to Dali Katch
Alexandru Simonescu I definitely want to, but I couldn't find a place to test it. My eyes are still focused on the JBL Pulse 3 as well.
Otto's Audio pulse 3 comes early august
iTrobRob Yeah, I wanted to be one of the first to buy it, but I will not be at home when it gets released, unfortunately.
Your only tests loud base song the go is the definitely winner.
cool speaker :D
Thomas bischoff Yeah it is already my favorite! It's an awesome speaker for sure!

Ganeshprasad Giri The Go Play easily has the most bass, so if you need that, the choice isn’t very difficult.
Do you set the vifa oslo to late night mode or neutral mode?
Hi Otto, got my GoPlay today! however I can't get sound when connected to my Toshiba laptop. Do you have any issues with Windows based machines also?
Alexandru Simonescu No, I don’t experience any issues so far. Are you using bluetooth or a wired connection?

Hi... Please Answer. What brand of mic you use to record?
Rois Tube I use the Zoom IQ7.
Otto's Audio Ok thanks, it's only for IOS device? Not for Android?
How you switch modes in Oslo? Is there a button for that or you need an app?
Bogdan Boruch You have to download the Vifa app for that.
Thank You Ottos Audio for very fast reply.
