OMG Thank you so much for posting this video. I searched for years trying to find it. I was the little girl sitting on Frankie Vallie's lap. From the looks of thing, I guess I really didn't want to have anything to do with him especially the kiss at the end. LOL @foxyroxstar It was because of how I chewed my gum was why Frankie picked me. He thought it was cute. And back in '65 when it was shot, there was no Internet and CZcams so who knew it would be viewed by so many.

When I was 10 or 11 years old my mother took me to see him at the Italian fest in Chicago. He was singing "My eyes adored you" he looked down at me and I waved, he waved back and I let out the loudest scream ever and he busted out laughing in the middle of the song. I have loved him since. I can't wait to take my 12 year old daughter to see him in April. A family tradition carried on...,

This is one of the greatest Four Seasons songs they ever did, and certainly was a huge hit during 1966. It is so delightful to see the Four Seasons getting the attention and recognition they have deserved all of these years, as one of the most important groups in the early 60's and helped to form a new type of music called "pop-rock" that brought many great groups such as the Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Byrds, The Moody Blues, The Dave Clark Five, Herman's Hermits and a whole host of others. Let us not forget the great Motown Groups that followed the Seasons such as The Temptations, The Shirelles, The Supremes, The Four Tops, and so many other great vocal groups that helped to make the 1960's. one of the greatest for music ever!
Those great days listening to AM top 40 radio on your American or Japanese transistor radio - Wow, the Four Seasons probably more than any other group, helped to usher in this new type of music - not hard rock and not rock-a-billy, but something new!

Frankie was really cool at noticing the unnoticeable. I saw a very old clip of his from the 60’s and he kept smiling and paying attention at this young black teenage girl. There were all these really pretty white girls vying for his attention but he did not pay them any attention. This was the ‘60s black girls were invisible unless they were in a band. I think this girl must have carried those moments with her for the rest of her life. I certainly would have.

Dude, Before I read your final paragraph, I was very pissed off about your remarks.
Then, after reading ALL of what you had to say, and also, 'inflections and nuances', I say this.
      (Word picture before statement).
I'm a 66 year old married, straight Australian bloke.
My Jillian, my Wife of 45 years, and I, exist for each other.
She is not the first love of my life, in youth there are dalliances.,
      Know this.
      I exist for her
      My Jill.
My visceral, cellular existence, she whose breath I listen to as she sleeps on her back in our double bed, I give thanks to my God for her smell, breath, sound, touch, smile, sound, her laugh, her magnificient blue eyes, ...and so, so much more.
I am, truly, a fortunate man.

At the time their "Opus 17 (Don’t You Worry ‘Bout Me)" was at position #19 on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart, three weeks later it would peak at #13 {for 1 week} and it spent eight weeks on the Top 100...

Their forty-second and last charted record was a re-mix of "December 1963", it peaked at #14 in 1994...
And as the Wonder Who? they had four records make the Top 100 chart, with their covered version of Dylan's "Don't Think Twice" peaking at #12 in 1965...
In 1956 using the name, the Four Lovers, they reached #62 with "You're the Apple of My Eye"...

Susan Lazzaro- You're so lucky and if that girl really is you then you must have had blast at a young age while being right next to Frankie Valli. I wish I could've been there because even though I'm years old I grew up listening to old fashioned music since third grade and still do today. I love all genres of music from the '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s in my own opinion any music before my time was where the real music is at because music from back then had a certain unique quality, authenticity, and had profoundly moving stories that were told so people can make connections with them through their own personal life experiences. That's what so special about golden oldies because you don't really hear that in the music of nowadays and even though I'm of this generation I'd rather listen to music that's compelling, authentic, has unique quality, tells a story, and so that I can make a personal connection through my own life and I believe that's why music from back then is still popular. Every time I'm on CZcams whenever I watch a classic song I always end seeing posts from people my age saying I grew up in the wrong decade, why am I in this decade, music of nowadays sucks, music from back then is real music, and I wish I could have been around back then where there was real music. To be honest I couldn't agree more and I appreciate retro clothing and retro hairstyles from the '40s, '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, and the '90s because like the music from those decades the hairstyles and clothing had unique quality and it was always something new in which nowadays it's just random modern fashion trends. As a young man of this generation I would just like to say to you and every single living person on CZcams I'm an Average Joe/Nerd and I love the oldies music, clothing, and hairstyles and I don't care who knows it because that's gonna be my fashion trends for the rest of my life :)

Great song. They cut off "Take Good Care of My Baby" by Bobby Vee at the end, though. Now I have to go find that.

@jhunter1163 I'm a guitar player. I think the key changes what makes it a great song. It starts in the key of F# and shifts five times ending on B using Keys F# G Ab A Bb and B. Each key change fuels the song ever slightly faster building a feeling of excitement. The song is like a race car going down a quarter mile drag strip shifting threw the gears. It grabs your attention and keeps it to the end.
