Great video. A friend just turned 60 and was offered a job teaching aeronautics at a local college. He does not have a bachelors and never finished his associates. He was hired upon reference and 40 years as an airplane mechanic. This was wonderful news. He's having a blast teaching.

If you are looking for work as a elementary or high school teacher in the more competitive states that pay well it’s not easy but possible to find work.However, if you just love teaching and salary isn’t a priority it’s easy to find work over 50. It is a very stressful job especially, in the past several years. To be honest the better teaching jobs in educating children prefer younger teachers.

Kelly is correct about the teacher shortage worst in special education, STEM fields, niche subjects then age does not seem to care about age.

VERY IMPORTANT, K- to- 7-grade, BY 7-GRADE THE KIDS CAN STAND ON THEIR OWN 2-FEEL,
FROM THE DYSFUNCTIONAL PEOPLE AROUND THEM. A TEAM WORKING TOGETHER!
You need to have a HANDLE of trust on the students. NO ONE disrupts the class. The week is always plan, to get done by THURSDAY. FRIDAY IS FREE PLAY LEARNING.
