- So I’m trying out Fenugreek to see if it’ll help with my pre-diabetes and blood sugar levels. I’ve only been on it for 3 days and I smell SO DIFFERENT. Thankfully I’m okay with it, but if you’ve taken Fenugreek before what’s been your experience?
Here’s the one I’m taking: amzn.to/3Wu57Zm
Oh try "Chromium GTF" for diabetes
I took fenugreek for years when I was nursing my first baby. I worked full time so I found it really helpful to keep up the milk production. I kinda miss maple-scented bathroom visits 😂 (I drank it as tea)
I know you didn't mean this the way I read it first... But, I did chuckle. 🤭
@@kahlips0180 Noticed the same 😅
What's the name of the tea and where did you purchase
@@justjazz7409 Hi! I just bought fenugreek seeds at the bulk store. If you have an Indian or Arabic store nearby, they're really inexpensive.
If you're taking fenugreek to increase milk production, you'll also want to avoid anti-galactagogues like sage.
When the goal is to lower sugar but you ending up smelling like sugar
Right?!? Like if this works the irony will not be lost on me
@@hallease Your issue is not Sugar babe, please do not be misled by the rhetoric that is often peddled. Feast on sugar and whittle down your fat intake and protein to very small quantities you will be splendid!. For the next month do not consume more than 10g of fat and 50g protein a day. Up the carbs, remove stimulants (tea, coffee etc) and 200ml of water every hour you are awake. No more than that. In addition the fenugreek optional and you will not be pre-diabetic/diabetic. Take this from someone who monitors ketones and blood glucose religiously. I've drank 500g of sugar at a time and my blood glucose has never exceeded 8. Cheers to health and vitality x
Chromium also really helps too. I was diagnosed with prediabetes and then my friend who is a herbalist told me to try chromium 2 tablets a day. Had my annual blood test again and my levels were amazing, prediabetes where.
Where do you get it. Is it a capsule
Congratulations 🎉 you got rid of your prediabetes by your friend recommending something to get rid of it but Which one of the Chromium did you take to get rid of your prediabetes and how many mcg, 100 count
Are you talking about Double Wood Supplement Chromium Picolinate 100mcg per serving
*supports fat, protein and sugar metabolism
*supports healthy glucose management
300 capsules
Dietary Supplements
@@soniacheek6768you can get it from any pharmacy or online. It's upto you to choose a brand.
In India, we just chew fennel greek seeds after a meal! No need for the supplement, just cheap stuff that you'd put in your food. It leaves you with fresh breath and helps me with nausea
👀 Wow how interesting, maybe I'll hit up my local Indian grocer and see if they have them
Did you say you chewed the fenugreek seeds or fennel seeds
@hush5144 are they called fenugreek seeds? I'm not sure what to look for. The only fenugreek I see out are in vitamin form
There are worse scents to emit! 😂😂😂 I hope it works for you!
Say what now, ma'am?! Wow! That is an interesting and cool "side effect".
Thanks for that information. ❤🍁🍯😉
Ginkgo Biloba and french maritime pine bark are both herbs that help with blood sugar, blood pressure and circulation and are far less smelly.
I buy the seeds from the Indian grocery store and make microgreen sprouts with it! I think the smell dissipates when it's a sprout, and I can incorporate it into my food!
Wait hold up, so you buy the seeds and grow the plant and then eat the plant?!
@@hallease girl yes! The seed can be ground and used as a spice in Indian food, pretty much all curry powders have fenugreek in them. But it's also grown and the leaves are used the same way you'd use parley or basil. Very nutrient dense and I think the nutrients are accessed better when it's sprouted like most legumes.
Cinnamon helped me. I'll check out fenugreek though.
I like the smell of maple syrup. I can’t wait to try this
Update?
This is soooooo true! I was taking fenugreek pills when I was nursing my last child because my milk supply was running short. I hate the smell of maple syrup so I was annoyed for about 3 weeks! 😂 also, I LOVE Indian food and the dishes I eat have fenugreek in it… does the same thing 😂😂
I’m not taking this but my armpits smell like maple syrup 😭😭 it smells so good 💀
Lemon
Tried during nursing period. It worked! Don’t recall maple syrup smell but chalk it up to being sleep deprived.
Oh my.....breakfast viiiibes!!
I’ve never tried it but I’m pre so ima start taking it thank you
I love maple syrup!
That sounds... pleasant?
😅
It gets old quickly
@@user-dc1md2jh9s I'd imagine lol
Yes, it definitely makes you smell like maple syrup.
I actually love smelling like syrup from it lol.
Giiiiirl, I do research on laser hair removal 10 months ago : I end up on your CZcams
Then I do research on fenugreek : I end up on your CZcams but your face rings a bell
Then I realize it’s you the girl from the great video about laser hair removal 😂
Hope the fenugreek is helping you. I’m gonna subscribe, I really love your energy :)
I literally ate a teaspoon amount of the raw seeds ( mixed with oatmeal for a better taste ) yesterday morning now today in the afternoon I smelled my ... ( daily check ups lol ) and it smells like syrup !
Ooh chile!! Maybe because it pulls the sugars out of the body thus the maple syrup smell!
Yes, where I'm from (middle east), they make a jello like cake thing made from fenugreek to give it to breastfeeding mothers but the whole house be smelling like curry lol I hate the smell
Lol currently taking it as I'm breastfeeding and I also noticed an "interesting" smell coming from the same places 😅
You are so beautiful ❤️ Wow!
Smelling sweet isn't so bad, stay away from bees.
It’s crazy good for lactation
Cinnamon helps with blood sugar modification
I drink it in tea form from time to time.
I’ve been nervous to try it out bc I have hypoglycemia and I read on PubMed and other sources that it can mess with sugar levels 😢
10g carb per kg body weight. Drink sugar you'll be fine. Hypo is usually a sign of under-eating therefore ED. No fenugreek will not mess with your sugar levels.
Been taking it for 2weeks and I don’t smell like maple syrup or any kind of smell. They also say it makes your breasts feel supple and tender, I also don’t get that effect at all. No sign if it’s working or not, so I know whether to discontinue 🤦🏾♀️
*"And in your..." LMAO. IT ALSO GROWS YOUR HAIR TOPICALLY. BUT I'M PRETTY SURE WHAT YOU PUT IN YOUR BODY, DOES THE SAME THING AS WHEN YOU PUT IT ON BODY! 💅🏾*
(To anybody looking for extra on the special spot, BABY TRY THAT #ASHWAGANDHA, but don't do it if they can't) 💦🤸🏾♀️😂*
I take it for hair growth
Let us know. I need to get my A1 c numbers down too.😉
Maple syrup does not smell bad it actually smells light sweet scent.
Your loca are divine
Interesting
I think menopausal women could use this too.
Lol maybe it's cuz your body is expelling the sugar via your pores, like sweat with salt. 😅
Ha! I love this theory but nah, if you smell the fenogreek it smells strongly of syrup
No Sis, the smell is due to sotalone, a compound that at low concentrations has a distinct maple syrup-like odour given fenugreek is used in the manufacturing of artificial maple syrup. Since sotalone passes through the body unchanged, it can impart a scent both to urine and sweat.
Smells a bit like curry .
Nope! Its got phytoestrogen. Also makes your tits bigger. Not hormonal balance unless your oestrogens low.
😂😂😂 it’s better your hair smelling like maple syrup
