      @@diauser3327 Hi Dia
I am 59 yrs old. I started this methi therapy one year back when i was 58. I soak 1 full teaspoon of methi seeds in one glass of water overnight. Next morning i drink the water and chew the seeds. On empty stomach. Although I am not diabetic my blood sugar used to be a bit high so I started eating methi. After i started methi one month later I checked my blood sugar using glucometer. Blood sugar level is within 98 -105 on fasting and not more than 110-115 post lunch. I check it once in 2 months. I take methi seeds daily. I rarely miss my dose. I am afraid of diabetes because my mother had diabetes. Your parents can start with half tspoon of methi at first and gradually increase to 1 teaspoon.

just thought i'd add that in our family, and in many Jewish families from Iraq, we make and eat something called "HILBEH". We soak methi seeds, and then grind/blend them with lots of cilantro, some mint, lemon juice, some green chili and garlic to taste - this turns into a delicious "chutney" type of thing that we eat with our meals. Yes, it is glutinous, but delicious! The Yemenites eat loads of Hilbeh and keep great health and strong bones and backs. They always recommend to people who have backaches.

I soak these in distilled water n then add green tea and soak over night and then apply this overnight or at least 2 hours before daily shower. This soaked water can be used twice or thrice and then another fresh batch. (If you make a big patch of power, it makes life easier.) Hope this helps. May Allah bless your child with great health.
