Mmm Yeah, I feel you on this. I love the quote “progress happens begrudgingly”. The consistency that despite it being frustrating, annoying, yet not removing the fact of progress being important and necessary. I love that.

Fighting the apathy is real, yet and still we gotta stay in the fight.
This is the thing a lot of what they are putting together happens behind closed doors. Like for example I got my student loans forgiven. Even though the Republicans tried to put a stop on it and it was a big campaign promise they are finding work arounds to get things done. Even though I got mine forgiven I am still in the fight for others.

I used to watch you when you first started your locs, it's magical to see how far they've come. You inspired me to start mine! I'm 3 years and some months loc'd now and I love it! Thanks for being an inspiration to young black Natural women.
Aw thanks! 😊 we’ll see, I’m thinking once they start hindering me from sitting down (like I gotta move them out of the way to do things like use the bathroom 🙃) that’ll be my queue to trim just enough but you never know

i live in TX so presidential elections are reallyyyy not that interesting. a Blue candidate doesnt always campaign here bc of obvious reason. thx for sharing.

I wash my locs a few times a week and separate my locs once a month or so
