Saw Willie 6 times between 2016 and two weeks ago. I want to see him again on September 22nd in Saratoga but I’m not sure I can make it. Thanks for the lesson big man.
That is great to hear! Amazing Willie is still out there performing! We need to see him as much as we can. He is an American Treasure and there will never be anyone remotley like Willie. I went up to Saratoga in 2015 or 2016. Beautiful scenery, beatufiul town and I had a good time at Saratoga Racecourse up there. I hope you get to see Willie again.
I keep hearing this song all week I was thinking to my shelf this sounds like a song Willie a do. than find out it. Was case he was did wright it wow lol.
Another great tune there Shane , I remember back in early 80`s Willie either came to Carter Caves or Greenbo Lake , pretty sure it was carter Caves and mom and some of her girlfriends went to see him , They remembered him from the early day`s and got the shock of their lives with "The New Improved Willie" , was not a good day for them ! LOL
Haha now that is quite a story. New and Improved Willie. I bet they were shocked! lol. I know where Carter Caves is but never have been to Greenbo Lake yet. Been to Green River Lake plenty of times though. All the best, take care and thanks for sharing that story!
