I was in the retail store in 1956 at 2:30 am. What a mad house, its gotten worse I'm sure. Old bldg, on 2 nd floor with creaky floors.
I worked at the Brunswick plant in 1993 and 94, and I thoroughly enjoyed my job, my coworkers, and the camaraderie! We worked together, took breaks together, and Bean was great when my 3 kids got sick and stayed out for 2 shifts. They train you to do several jobs, so we can jump right in and pick up the slack! I stitched the canvas boat and tote bags, leather handles, log holders, wood carriers and the zippers in the polar fleece liners of sleeping bags! We got excellent discounts, and could purchase returns in great condition. I LOVED ❤️❤️❤️working there! I have so much Bean stuff, but we retired to South Carolina and don't use a lot of it.....

I remember last year my mom was going to by me a pair of bean boots for Christmas, and you couldn't even back order it. It was like November 20 and it said it would come in April

I just ordered a pair of bean boots but they shipped from Illinois!? I live in Mass so I thought they'd be here quick but when I seen they're shipping from Illinois it surprised me

I am so happy by buying a pair of LL Bean hunting boots they definitely are the best
Stuff that’s being made is equally being thrown out.
The honest employee returns a $1000 some dummy left inside his boot and all he did is give them a thank you note?? REALLY? Atleast give the guy $100 bucks or a really good lunch for everyone. Give him/her SOMETHING as a thank you and for positive reinforcement.

I REFUSE to buy any of their clothing, just horrible, cheap, Asian-made clothing. I'd LOVE to see a video of the Asian workers though! Now THAT would make for some good TV ratings.
