This is a pretty cool tool for the price. Definitely gonna jump on this.
Yes it does a lot.
Great diagnostics Glen and pretty nice scan tool to have all of those extra features built in. Keep up the good work! 😀👍
stuzman thank you Sir!
Looks like a neat scan tool! Love the graphing part of it! Thanks!
It is a good tool for the money.
What a great tool. The combination of options in one tool is going to help a lot of people. It even has a kick stand, that made me laugh. You had a good car to do some tests on. Nicely done Glen.
wyattoneable kickstand makes everything better. Thanks! 👍
Great Video Glen! That looks like a cool tool, I'm certainly going to check it out!💪
DiagnoseDan hope all is well with you Dan.
Great diagnostic tool, It has a lot of functions thats really handy. Thanks Glen
Rusty Glovebox it's a decent tool
What a neat tool! Cool vid Oz.
hasbeengood thanks man.
Great demo
This is great content! I just purchased this tool and was looking for a lesson just like this. Thank you so much 👍
The tools works well for the money. Thanks for the comment!
@@ozzstars_cars yeah I have a couple other Autel tools and I definitely like them. I never knew about this device tho. Really like how it has the DMM and the battery tester built into 1 device.
Autel make some nice tools. Great demonstration
Thanks for stopping by the channel.
Nice demonstration! That Autel looks impressive
robinsonsauto works decent in this case. 😉
Good one Glen 👍👍
N Smith thanks!!👍
Hey I'm learning from your channel, thanks.
Real Police Talk that's what it's all about. Thanks for dropping in.
I'm looking for a scan tool to buy - this really helps! Thanks for posting - gonna check out links you provided...and I have subscribed as well
Thank you sir.
Great video thanks brother. I like the scan tool. Looks like it's got about everything you need. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother
Thanks for stopping by.
Nice Glen. Maybe you could of pricked up the sensor outputs and shown them on the scanners graph display?
I have replaced many o2 sensors in my life. Never have I seen one bust loose like that 🤙
No rust is nice. The one is this video was brutal to remove, the worst I ever dealt with czcams.com/video/3oF4t-Sh0Jg/video.html
Cool tool, cool diag 😎 no guessing!
All good in the hood😂, nice review. Looks like some tips were picked up from scanner danner 👍
The mech a nic and a few others 😀
Good job
Thank you gto!
Very nice video. My dodge caravan, 2002, had o2 sensor replaced but the engine light never went off and now months later it's running rough. I think repair shop should have done more investigating before letting me go off for so long thinking all was well. They thought the check engine light was just stuck on. Now I have to take it in for testing, but this video will help me communicate with them and be sure they are doing a good job checking wires etc.
Yes Cindy it's called diagnostics. Find the problem, prove it's the problem, repair the problem and confirm it's fixed 100%. Good luck, it can be a challenge to find a competent mechanic.
Thank you. I should also mention I took snapshots with my phone and from the website I originally found your video, and I took pics of the info posted there so I can be sure they follow all avenues. I also subscribed to your channel and am sharing it with others. Thanks!
Like how you work. Have just subscribed. Work as a mobile mechanic myself. Auto electrician too. Just bought this Autel tool. Did some research into battery load testers and nothing wowed me. Scared to buy something crap from China. Ok Autel popped up and because have my Autel 908 scan tool which rocks, figured to have it. Mean you can graph o2. Scan cars. Lights appear instantly to show if there are faults. And it does battery test. Great.
Obviously if you have like me fluke auto multimeter it has min max. You connect to battery and crank. If volts drop below 9v you know battery not so great and on way out.
Test and don't guess. Good job diagnosing.👍
@@ozzstars_cars So you reckon the Autel AL539b is good. But do you use it more than your scan tool?
@@jamesbarratt593 for fast code checking, fuel trim data, battery health and a built in ohm meter, yes. Easy to transport and it's low maintenance. For $100 that tool does a lot. I can't say I use it more than any other scan tool. I use what I need.
@@ozzstars_cars yeah because what I hate is when I have plugged my scan tool in and then opted for choosing the vehicle. That way you get loads of selections to choose from which you dont know what the answer is. Then some cars you dont even get live data good like you get if you just go straight and select the eobd option. Cutting out the crap makes you more relaxed. A relaxed mind is what you need to be able to diagnose stuff.
Nice video Glen, keep on the great work, just to add something else, maybe insignificant but I would have also tried swapping the both sensors to see if the problem would change on the scanner. greetings
More data isn't a bad thing. Thanks Sergio.
Great video I always quadruple check on electrical circuits
Never hurts to take an extra second or minute to make the call correctly. Thanks Antonio!
Ozzstar No it doesn't hurt and your very welcome ozzstar and loved the Eric O reference joke by the way
Nice review, Glen, this one seems to be a cut above the hand held market. Autel make some pretty good scanners, and some of their high end devices have bidirectional control. Ratchets and Wrenches here on CZcams reviewed the Maxidas, and for less than a thousand dollars you've got some entry level pro controls. I've been really disappointed by Autoenginuity pro, no bidirectional control and really clunky, it freezes all the time. The Autel Maxisys line sounds attractive, but high end scanners have prices that go beyond what most backyard mechanics can pay. Some of the Autel scanners have batteries that can't be replaced, and they ask for a subscription which is a barrier for guys who do it part time. So, if you hang on to tools for years of low usage, it is disappointing if batteries fail or if outdated subscriptions lead to a fail. I have a really old basic Autel hand held, and it erases codes much faster than all my higher end scanners. After more than 10 years, it still works fine.
spelunkerd I certainly say there is no scan tool that does it all. The worst is when the tool gives false data! I've seen it first hand. Take care.
Great video. My GMC Denali (2008) is throwing p1133 and p1153( o2 upstream) codes. I changed both with GM oxygen sensors and after two days the same code came back. Checked the connectors. Looks ok. Any suggestions?
O2B1S1(v)=0.375
O2B1S2(v)=0.755
Hi there, you done ok, ohms test on heating element, you can test the sensor by putting a voltmeter across the earth and signal terminal and heating it up with aceteline torch, when its cold it reads 0 when its red hot it read 1 volt...Fred in Uk.
That is true for the heater circuit but lets not forget the other important circuit side of an O2 sensor, to detect oxygen amount in the exhaust stream.
👌
Hello Ozzstar, is there a way you can add cells on the graph to get precise voltage measurements on any test? Like peak-to-peak (VP-P) measurements. Thank you
Definetly can't add any cells to the graph. For peak to peak need to have a fast eye. lol I would hook my scope up at that point.
I may have to pick that up. I have a wheel speed sensor going bad on the van and it would be nice if there was a code to tell me which one. Although, this is the 2nd one to go so I should probably just replace them all...
Matt Heere this tool probably wont give you live data to test a wheel speed sensor. Would be great if it did.

i have so many questions that could of been answered had you of filmed this with your phone on a tripod, most of what your doing i cannot see and thus cannot replicate.
We will be giving you a full refund.
Have tested the ohm meter ....it was off by a factor of 4...I'm not sure if it's fixed in other firmware realises thanks
Accuracy is really important. Good thing to check.
if the reading on the scanner for O2 B1S1 is "NA" , what does that mean?
Try a different scan tool. What tool model are you using?
My o2 sensor jumps from low to high voltage constantly.
-replaced cat a month ago
-replaced air fuel ratio sensor two weeks ago.
Is it an aftermarket cat and did you fix the condition that caused the previous cat to fail. Excess coolant and or rich fuel condition will cause that.
@@ozzstars_cars hey I have a very rich condition -16 fuel trims lol so that probably did it and might have done it again.
I am diagnosing the cause of the rich condition, and a faulty downstream o2 sensor can be one of them. So that's why I was asking if my o2 sensor voltage is constantly jumping, does it mean it's broken?
As for the cat, yes it's aftermarket but oem fit...and the cat code (p0420) came back after 300 km of driving.
How does 20$ an hr sound ? 6month - 1yr
My front upstream o2 sensor stuck at 2.3volt it doesnt fluctuates
Need to diagnose why the engine is stuck rich.
can this read wide band sensors or just narrow band O2 sensors?
I don't see why it wouldn't.
@@ozzstars_cars because 90% don't
@@WV591 next chance I will check that. I use more powerful scan tools for most diagnosis.
@@ozzstars_cars that would be appreciated.
😉
Flat Rate Master hope you caught up on your sleep during the vid Mike. 😁

your amazon link for scanner is 539 not 539b, love video but there is a difference.
You were right, thank you. I now have the correct amazon link posted.
