Good question! Really, you can put any size line on it. However, for optimal performance from that reel a monofilament in 12 to 25lbs or braided line in 15 to 80lbs would be a good spread to start with.

if its one thats in a red bag its worth around £70 ($120) , i think their glass rods and get heavy at the end of a days fishin, but they had their place at the time 👍👍🎣
